The Office Stephen ColbertEd Helms will reunite with a former Daily Show cohort this fall when Stephen Colbert guest-stars on The Office.

A onetime member of Andy’s Cornell a cappella group Here Comes Treble, Rob (finally) makes his debut in the Oct. 25 episode after the Dunder Mifflin boss gets wind that his frenemy is rewriting their musical history in a much-too-dissonant key.

Colbert and Helms, along with ex-Office star Steve Carell, worked together on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show from 2002-2005.

The Office, meanwhile, kicks off its farewell season tonight at 9/8c.

  • Stephen on the show alone is enough to make me watch, but the idea of him singing? That just makes it all the better. Looking forward to that episode.
