Is this Ben and Kate or Covert Affairs?

Judge for yourself in this exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette from Fox’s upcoming Tuesday-night comedy, which follows what happens when a feckless guy (played by Nat Faxon) moves in with his Type-A sister (Dakota Johnson) and helps her raise his niece (Maggie Elizabeth Jones).

  1. The little girl is adorable, but this show looks absolutely terrible.

A lot of the critics are naming it the best new comedy show for this season though! It’s between Ben & Kate, The Mindy Project, and Go On that many critics are naming the new comedies to watch. I don’t think this show looks bad at all though. It actually looks very charming and funny. Plus, it’s nice that we have a fresh and new dynamic (brother and sister) rather than the same old routine of a man and female lead who plays the “will-they-won’t-they” game.

Sigh, once again non-americans get shafted… awesome

Just finished watching Ben and Kate on Hulu. I really, really loved it! I can’t wait to see more and I hope FOX has a new hit on their hands with it. I’ll make sure and check out The Mindy Project tomorrow on Hulu as well.

  4. Tricia says:

I watched both shows w/ OnDemand today and they both exceeded expectations. I was actually surprised with how much I enjoyed Ben and Kate even with seeing most of it in the trailer. And of course I loved The Mindy Project, seriously can Mindy Kaling be any more awesome?!
