Get More: Casting News, Scoop

During his nine years on ER, Goran Visnjic spent a lot of time patching up wounds. In his new gig on ABC’s Red Widow, he’s more likely to inflict them.

Four years after hanging up his stethoscope as Dr. Luka Kovac, Visnjic is returning to series regular work on the Alphabet net’s upcoming mob drama, Deadline reports.

The series follows a wife and mother (Australian actress Radha Mitchell) looking for answers after gangsters murder her husband – who was no saint, himself. Visnjic will play Schiller, a mob boss portrayed in the pilot by The River’s Thomas Kretschmann.
