  • Ah so exciting! I loved Sarah Jessica in New Years Eve and I am a huge fan of Chris. I’m so thrilled to see two of my favorite people work together on a show I love so much. Can’t wait it’s going to be amazing!

  • “In terms of impact on Kurt’s career, might Isabelle eclipse good ol’ Mr. Shue?”

Are you being sarcastic? Schue did nothing for Kurt. Absolutely nothing from start to finish. Not one featured solo in competition, not in three years, despite stating more than once that Kurt was just as talented as Rachel or Mercedes. When Sue held Kurt’s big nationals solo hostage to Kurt agreeing to do it in drag, Schue raised no objections at all.

Isabelle not kicking Kurt to the kerb is already at about the same bar Schue set.

    • I completely agree! Shue did nothing for Kurt, he was too obsessed with Finn (same goes for the shows producers).

    • If memory serves correctly, the Warblers didn’t do much for him either since he never got a solo with them. One of the worst duets in Glee history isn’t something to hang his hat on. Nor is a foam party with fetish-ized schoolgirls. Plus, it’s not like Will believed that Sue would make him perform in drag. Seriously, think before posting.

      • Travis, show me where she said the Warblers did treat him well? Mr. Shue never tried to be a good teacher to anyone but his favorites, Finn and Rachel.

        • The point was Kurt’s never been able to earn the spotlight no matter where he was or who was responsible for his success, so the blame Will was one-sided. He’s always been a second stringer and that’s that.

      • Candles was a great duet. Dunno what you’re talking about.

    • If you don’t actually want to know before it happens, then SPOILER, but Kurt will be getting an internship at Vogue, and Sarah Jessica Parker will be his boss there. She will also help him to give Rachel a proper NYC makeover.

      • Isn’t making cruel comments about how people look absolutely hilarious?! Especially talented actresses who are much more successful than you ever will be?! I know I always find it sidesplitting when men who are insecure about their looks pick on women who aren’t.

        • True. Still funny though.

        • it actually isn’t even funny in addition to everything rob said being true. it is a tired and overused “joke” that i can’t believe people still put out there and think they are clever.

  • I’m sorry but that is NOT a flattering picture of her. I think that’s honestly actually one of the worst pictures I’ve seen taken of her! Geez, Ryan! I didn’t know Secretariat signed on for a guest spot.

  • Oh wow, I didn’t realize that Glee was doing a crossover episode with American Horror Story…

  • Please, Kurt will never be half as entertaining or fabulous as Stanford Blatch. Willie Garson is such an underrated actor.

      • That would be mean and hurtful if she weren’t one of the most amazing women in the world. I will only watch those episodes of Glee for her!

    • I love him as Moz on White Collar, along with the delicious Matt Bomer (portrayer of Blaine’s older brother Cooper).

  • Whatever. Kurt was lucky that Mr. Schue even let him stand next to Rachel. He’s such a one-trick pony. The Rachel Berry Show rules!

      • Thank you for the concern, but I’m just trying to keep up with the other mean-spirited Glee “fans” who love to tear down any character that’s not their favorite. You may not be one of them, but that’s apparently how the game is played with this fandom.

Comment by Travis – August 21, 2012 03:41 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • Aww, she looks really lovely in that photo.

  • meh… not excited about this “development” for Kurt… becoming a fashionista? of course, gay people are only good at entertainment, fashion, gossip and as hair stylists… because gay guys can’t excell in any other field (thus perpetuating the idea that gay = superficiality); why Kurt couldn’t become an Architect or an Industrial Designer, or any other activity which is not an stereotype?
but, as things look like, Kurt’s role on Glee isn’t to portray a relevant role model for gay teens anymore but to please the cute pretty fantasies that straight schoolgirls have about “the gays” (“yay! the pretty delicate boys are soo cute… the perfect fashion advisers… I want one as a pet!”), specially since he was turned into an eunuch and just meant to play the fairytale princess role in Klaine (passive, asexual, pretty)…
I used to like Kurt when he still had character… watching him now is like reading a poor RP game on tumblr or plain fluffy fanfiction… and turning him into a gay Carrie Bradshow won’t do any good (but Mr Murphy is too busy with his other shows right now to care… he just gave up last season anyway)

    • Do you realize Criss Colfer was campaining for this storyline from ages? An intership in vogue was his idea for Kurt

Comment by may – August 21, 2012 09:09 AM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • The actor that portrays Kurt is named Chris Colfer, not Criss Colfer.

Comment by Kay – August 21, 2012 12:14 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • Well, if that’s the case, shame on him by helping to perpetuate the same old stereotypes of the “gay ghetto” instead of challenging them… (and his name is Chris, not Criss, indeed)
By the way, for the girls that adore the “gays are cute and fabulous” idea, is the same as if in these times women were still told that their “natural place” is the kitchen, making them otherwise unfit to do anything outside the domestic chores, like used to be in the 50′s… awful, right? well, a big lot of us want to be seen and respected as MEN, fully equals of our straight counterparts, defined by our personalities and achievements and not by our sexuality, and for all those gay teens who don’t fit inside the “rainbow ideology” these storylines on Glee just make harder for them to come out and find acceptance… because in the “Gleeverse” masculine gay guys (or just anything outside of the Judy/Barbra/Madonna camp) are clearly the “wrong” kind of gay…

  • Well I am happy about the Vogue thing for Kurt. To me, he has always been more of a fashionista than a singer. His outfits are one of the craziest things I have seen on glee.

  • Thanks for your sharing. It really helped me to know the details. Someone asked me how to import steel flanges and elbows from China? Why not try Fame Rise Flange Co.,ltd? This is a professional manufacturer for pipe fittings. At the same time, I hope your posts will help more people all over the world.
