Ronn Moss Addresses Shocking Bold and the Beautiful Exit: 'All Good Things End Eventually'

Suds vet Ron Moss has broken his silence about his shocking decision to leave CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful after just more than 25 years with the show.

In a statement posted to his Facebook page, the actor first thanked fans for their “support during this time and hopefully beyond.” As for what exactly beyond entails, Moss “can’t say anything yet, but soon will explain. Hang in there with me, we have a wonderful new journey ahead of us.”

Without any further explanation for his sudden B&B exit — which was reportedly due to salary issues — Moss offered condolences to longtime fans of his soap lothario, Ridge Forrester.

“Try and not be sad, angry, disappointed,” he advised. “It’s been a great run and all good things end eventually. As this door closes, others are opening. I want you all to come with me through these new doors of opportunities and experience how cool it’s going to be.

“Have faith, be strong,” continued the actor. “Know I’m eternally yours.”

Moss, one of B&B‘s four remaining original players, is set to shoot his final scenes Tuesday, with his run slated to conclude sometime in September.

  • Really wish writers would know their place and not mess with loyal fans favorite actor Ron Moss. Ridge (Ron Moss) is terrific playing Ridge. It’s who fans adore and look forward to. Replacing him is a terrible mistake. Hoping writers would know their place before Bold and Beautiful ends up to be another Santa Barbera.
