Your August Calendar: NBC's Fall TV Sneak Peek, Plus More Than 75 Other Premieres and Finales

In keeping with the Olympic spirit, let us liken the month of August to a “passing of the baton” between the summer and fall TV seasons — yet even more so this year, since NBC is letting loose with early looks at some of its new wares, Grimm Season 2 included.

On this calendar you will find more than 80 dates, from series premieres to returning faves, with a few finales — including DallasPretty Little Liars and The Closer‘s very final case — as well as one-time specials thrown in.

Season/series premieres are in BOLDClick on the thumbnail below, and save the dates!
Preemptive P.S.
My calendar-making skills are not infallible, so if you spot something that is (theoretically) missing, drop a polite note in Comments and I will (possibly) include it in an update.

You can view the broadcast networks’ Fall TV roll-out plans in detail at these links: ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and The CW.

  • The Closer finale is going to be awesome if any of these last episodes are of any indication. Last night’s ending was soooooooo heartbreaking!

      • Wow. you didn’t see THAT coming? I saw it coming the moment the char said ‘we need to talk about something else’ and BL rushed out the door before the talk could be had.

    • You realize it’s just for four weeks before anything else comes on, right? So they’ll catch on the Monday audience (which is huge) and attract them to Friday once the Monday shows on the other networks come back…

Personally, I think NBC has something going there.

  • Since Suits and Necessary Roughness are labeled as ‘midseason finales’, does that mean they will be back sometime before next summer? That might throw a difficult wrench in my “regular season” tv viewing… yikes!! ;o)

    • Yes. The rest of the season should air in the winter.
