It seems like network drama’s and network comedies are being overseen A LOT. Like no drama series that was nominated is a network drama? Downton Abbey had a crappy S2, and only like 8 episodes while The Good Wife produced 22 GREAT episodes, which is a lot harder. Cable seems to be the future, while A LOT of network actresses ( Ellen Pompeo, really? Sandra Oh? Kadee? Emily Deschannel, etc ) are being overseen and taken for granted. It’s a shame.
Justified receiving no Emmy love in major categories was a crime.

Madeleine Stowe is definitely missing from this list. Watch out- Victoria Grayson is going to get her Revenge!

Totally agree with… well a lot.
I saw an ABC press release and some of my favorites- Castle, Body of Proof, Revenge, Last Man Standing, Suburgatory, Cougar Town- ALL SNUBBED. Not even any technical ones like Once Upon A Time and The Middle at least got.
Oh well. As long as Modern Family and Homeland win, I’ll be happy.
How about Robert Sean Leonard as Wilson on House? He was amazing in the last few episodes! I am most upset about him, Hugh Laurie, John Noble, Fringe, Southland, Cougar Town, Justified (Neil McDonough really deserved one for that show).
Really happy about Homeland and Downton Abbey but WFT about American Horror! It was okay but not Emmy worthy.
OMG, almost 40 “snubs” and not a single one of them is about Game of Thrones??? I would have filled the 40 pictures with the actors of the show, really!!!!!
I just finished watching the entire 2nd season of The Killing and while yes they dragged out the “Who Killed Rosie Larson” storyline I have to say I didn’t see it coming. While one could argue it was Jamie’s fault, it was after all the Mitch’s sister who put the car in gear and off it went into the lake. I think Joel Kinnaman’s performance as Holden was outstanding and should be among the nominations. As well as Katy Sagal, and Charlie Hunman, and Maggie Siff, not to mention the show itself – Sons of Anarchy.
Also, Justified and Timothy Olphyant; Neal MacDonald for a support role, when his arm got cut off at the end with the meat clever, totally unexpected! The Emmy’s tend to go with the same shows and actors/actresses year to year until the show goes off the air. Let’s not forget the shows on the USA network; while they are fun several of the actors deserve to be recognized. I think they should add categories and separate out basic TV, and cable TV in order to allow for more nominations.

Lead actor comedy has a lot of stale network trash. I think Jason Gann not getting nominated for “Wilfred” and Matt LeBlanc for “Episodes” are bigger snubs than most on your list. Jim Parsons, John Cryer, and Alec Baldwin – overrated and playing the same boring characters they’ve played for what seems like decades -> Baldwin is so boring he is on auto-pilot most of the time. Those performances aren’t in the same league as what Gann and LeBlanc are doing.
Eden Shur is hilarious and nails her character perfectly. Community is excellent – why don’t more people watch? Eureka wasn’t on this list but was fantastic and we will miss it!
Yes. Justified is the best and most underrated show currently on television.

First of all, people need to stop talking about glee because it doesn’t even deserve the attention everyone in this comment section is giving it. It was not snubbed in any way. The biggest snub was Katey Sagal for Sons of Anarchy. I mean seriously, she won the Golden Globe but she’s not even nominated? There’s something wrong with that.

The people who think Glee was snubbed have obviously never seen the shows that were nominated instead of Glee. If they actually saw some of these shows they would know what good writing sounds like and what good performances look like. The shows and actors that are nominated are recognized for a reason: they deserve it. Not to say there were not snubs; Parks and Rec, Sons of Anarchy (Katey Sagal, Charlie Hunham, and Maggie Siff), and Game of Thrones. But to bring in shows like Grey’s Anatomy and The Vampire Diaries is seriously reaching, they absolutely do not deserve Emmy nods.. they are examples of second-rate TV shows at most
Justified was totally snubbed in the best Drama Series, Best Actor, Best Suppoting Actor, Best Guest Actor, Best Writing categories. Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins, Jere Burns, and Graham Yost all deserved to be in there this year. It is the currently the best and most overlooked show on television, imo.
No kidding! I don’t watch Revenge but NCIS and Castle are quality crime dramas. Mark Harmon always does a fabulous job as Gibbs and Stana Katic deserved at least a nomination for “Kill Shot” alone. The Emmy people need to realize that there’s more to drama TV than cable.
