  • WHY IS IT THAT YOU NEVER SEE A SCI-FI SHOW TO BE NOMINATED! I WAS TRULY UPSET THAT YOU DIDNT CONSIDER TRUE BLOOD! THEY DO A WONDERFUL JOB AS A DRAMA SHOW! SHAME ON YOU

    • The parameters for Emmy nominations are way too narrow for the many genres of programming on 100 TV networks. Traditionally some of the best and most popular Sci-Fi shows, such as the original Star Trek and FireFly, didn’t reach the fan frenzy level until they were cancelled. There are currently a number of very well done Sci-Fi programs on air that should be nominated for Emmys in multiple categories.

    • Probably because True Blood is a hokey guilty pleasure show that the Emmy’s aren’t going to take seriously. I like it and it’s a fun show, but come one let’s be serious here. And it isn’t scifi either. It’s fantasy. Nothing on that show has anything to do with science fiction.

    • What about Bones? That is the best drama/comedy on tv!

  • I love New Girl but it’s a shame it gets more Emmy attention than Happy Endings. Happy Endings is a similar, albeit BETTER show. It has wittier writing, a funnier cast and smarter, far less lewd comedy.

  • Modern Family and Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burell, Eric Stonestreet, Ed O’Neill, Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Best show on tv and best cast.

  • How is Vincent Kartheiser NEVER in the conversation for acting nods?! He was amazing this season and I’d say him and Christina Hendricks carried season 5 of Mad Men. If anyone in Mad Men gets an acting nom then it should be Vincent Kartheiser and/or Christina Hendricks.
