  1. Pat says:

    Nick Offerman

    • Ava says:

It will be a crime if he does not score a nomination. It will be an even bigger crime if Parks & Rec does not score a nod as well.

      • Aljosa says:

Unfortunately he won’t get nominated. He has been doing a great job playing Ron Swanson for a few years now and if the academy didn’t recognize him last year or the year before that, it won’t recognize him now.

        • Britta Unfiltered says:

Don’t be so sure about that. The Gold Derby site has him at 20 to 1 odds of winning right now and he’s predicted to be in the 5th slot after the Modern Family guys. Max Greenfield is showing in the 6th slot at 25/1 odds, and all other nominees are at 100 to 1. Sorry, numbers geek right here.

    • rachelleet says:

      Nick AND Amy. PULEASE.

    • Melanie says:

Nick Offerman. He’s way past due! And P&R should win for Best Comedy

    • noa says:

YES! Nick and Amy. those are the 2 most important to me. although a nomination for Community is high up on that list as well.

  2. EllenFTW says:

    • Ryan says:

Ellen has been deserving an Emmy nod since the season 6 finale. She has been on fire and keeps getting better. Having said that, I feel like the actress most deserving of Emmy recognition for season 8 would have to be Sandra Oh. That woman…there are no words. And from another Shondaland show: Kadee Strickland and Caterina Scorsone. How Kadee didn’t get nominated last year is a mystery to me and an utter disgrace to the Emmys and Caterina – once again – was on fire this season. Unfortunately, the Emmys seemed to lose interest in Shondaland after the second season of “Grey’s Anatomy.”

      • A says:

Caterina Scorcone most definitely deserves one for her entire intervention/baby arc on Private Practice last season. Her acting and all her scenes with Addison were phenomenal. And I’m shocked that Ellen Pompeo has never received an Emmy nod. I mean she’s been leading a show for 8 friggin years and not one nomination from them to acknowledge her amazing work. I swear sometimes the people who chose the Emmy nominations really piss me off. So many great actors just keep getting passed by and the same actors are allowed to compete every year for many years. even if they don’t win. They need to start giving other actors a chance.

        • Me34 says:

Yeah, the whole drug addiction plot was really well acted. And KaDee Strickland was even better the previous season with the rape storyline. But the thing is the performances are much bigger than the show itself.

          • Ryan says:

Not just the drug addiction but the pregnancy! Caterina deserves an Emmy nom for the finale alone (and the intervention episode, of course). I agree that KaDee really should’ve been nominated last year but she did great work this year, too. Her scenes with Mason and Erica were gut-wrenching.

    • Me34 says:

      I support this one.

    • Me34 says:

      I agree with this one.

  3. hershey says:

    John Noble!

  4. Pam says:

Supporting Actress in a Comedy: Naya Rivera…enough said…

  5. Chris says:

Community…mostly Gillian Jacobs or Jim Rash

    • Angela says:

YES. Let’s get “Community” some proper nods (and, when the awards air in September, some wins)! Rooting for them.

  6. August says:

Parks & Recreation deserves every comedy award imaginable.

  7. davey says:

    Alison Brie (Community)
    John Noble (Fringe)
    Damon Wayans Jr. (Happy Endings)
    Lena Dunham (Girls)

  8. Mary says:

Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla.

  9. Xe says:

Naya Rivera. It’s a shame she was let down by the material she was given.

  10. Emma says:

Michelle Fairley, Lena Headey, Stana Katic and Kim Raver would be a dream, but probably not going to happen. Lena Headey has a good chance of getting nominated though, I think :)

    • Me34 says:

Lena Heady’ Cersei improved so much in season 2. Much much better (never would imagine I’d be supporting her for a nomination comparing it to how much material had in season 1, but not enough performance quality). I agree with this one.

  11. Anonymouse1013 says:

    • Me34 says:

It’ll have a lot for sure (Giancarlo Esposito is a lock and a possible winner and Anna Gunn will probably join), but agree with this.

      • kim says:

I don’t see how giancarlo wins — he just doesn’t have that emmy episode — if anyone it will be Aaron Paul — but if Josh Charles gets nominated for the good wife and submits Another Ham Sandwich — watch out.

    • Katy says:

I love Chris Colfer, but I don’t think the material was there for him this year. And let’s face it, if there are 5 nominations it’s basically everyone not from Modern Family is competing for that last slot. : /

  12. Anjelica Huston in Outstanding Supporting Actress on a Drama Series for her work on Smash.

  13. Nicolas says:

    John Noble (Fringe)

  14. K says:

Would LOVE to see Courteney Cox finally get a nomination!

  15. mawhi says:

    Amy Poehler

  16. Matt says:

    Madeleine Stowe!

  17. Parks and Rec! or Fringe…or Sherlock

  18. Alyssa says:

Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic. BEAT THE ODDS! Probably the must deserved and put off :) Give Castle some credit!

  19. V says:

    Timothy Olyphant

  20. Ryan says:

I’d kill for Madeleine Stowe to get a nomination for “Revenge.” One of the best actresses on television. Period.

  21. Regal says:

    John Noble

  22. V says:

    Laura Linney

  23. V says:

    Matt Le Blanc

    • sam says:

He’s unfortunately not eligible — showtime didn’t air new “episodes” during the eligibility period which makes no sense, he would have had a good chance of winning.

  24. Eric says:

Eden Sheer form “The Middle” she’s amazing!!!
    “Happy Endings” for Comedy Series

    • Britta Unfiltered says:

Yes, Eden is underappreciated for sure. It is the rare adolescent actor who can pull off comedy in quite the way she does on that show.

  25. Bee says:

most of the nominations will be deserved but i will FLIP if kathy bates and mariska hargitay are nominated again. a waste of 2 slots because, as talented as they are of course, kathy won’t win for harry’s law and marsika’s been nominated 500 times already.

the underdogs i’m pulling for are the happy endings cast, kerry washington, and madeleine stowe! i hope max greenfield gets a nom also as he’s predicted to by many.

and i REALLY hope american horror story and its awesome “weirdness” don’t get shut out. rooting for noms for connie, dennis o’hare, and frances conroy.

  26. V says:

    Ed O’Neill

  27. V says:

Timothy Olyphant as Raylan Givens – Justified

  28. Kaitlin says:

    Katey Sagal, Sons of Anarchy

  29. Jorge Jose Herrera says:

  30. V says:

Walton Goggins as Boyd Crowder – Justified

    • adlib19 says:

He is one of the most complicated and well-written characters on television and only Walton can bring him to life and make me root for Boyd. What talent he has.

  31. sweetD says:

Emmy Rossum for Shameless, phenomenal acting all season long.

  32. James says:

I’m not one of those people who is obsessed with Community but Community deserves to win Best Comedy, or at least get nominated, the only show this year that can match the quality of Community is Parks and Rec. It is a fact that Jim Rash, Danny Pudi, and Donald Glover are better actors than any of the four guys on Modern Family, the only one who truly deserves a nomination is Ty Burrel. The three women from Community also deserve a nomination (I realize that none of them actually will get one). And if you don’t believe me watch an episode of Community.

Also Nick Offerman better get a nomination.
So should Jane Krakowski, Breaking Bad (and most of its cast), Christina Hendricks better win, Girls (and Lena Dunham), and also Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

  33. Karrah says:

I would love to see Girls nominated for anything, and Max Greenfield for New Girl. And why has HIMYM never been nominated for Best Comedy? I know NPH has been nominated but I would love to see the show recognized.

  34. May says:

I would love to see Stana Katic get nominated. Her acting on the season 4 finale was genius.

  35. Templar says:

    Benedict Cumberbatch/Sherlock/Martin Freeman.

  36. Krissy says:

Jon Hamm, Edie Falco, Julianna Marguiles, Elizabeth Moss, Sandra Oh, Ty Burrell, Hugh Laurie,Julia Louis-Dreyfus

  37. Sarah El says:

Parks and Recreation and cast, Community and cast, New Girl and cast, NOT Glee and NONE of its cast, The Good Wife and cast, Breaking Bad and cast, Revenge and/or cast, SYTYCD and Cat Deeley, Game of Thrones and cast, Homeland and cast, Sherlock and cast. Like especially Amy Poehler, Max Greenfield, Jim Rash, Danny Pudi, Allison Brie, Benedict Cumberbatch, Claire Danes, Damien Lewis, Mandy Patinkin, Giancarlo Esposito, Peter Dinklage, Bryan Cranston, Aarol Paul, Madeleine Stowe, Gabriel Mann, EVERYONE I LOVE ESSENTIALLY AND SNUB GLEE.

    • ben says:

Claire Danes, Damien Lewis, Mandy Potinkin – really must see those three get nominations, amazed to see it took till here for them to come up. I also support Benedict Cumberpatch, Amy Poehler, John Noble & Robert Carlisle

  38. tvaddict says:

Happy Endings, Adam Pally, Eliza Coupe, Casey Wilson, Damon Wayans Jr Revenge, Supernatural, Amy Poehler, True Blood, any of the men from Parks & Rec, Community, The Good Wife(and all of its many guest stars including Anna Camp and Carrie Preston), Once Upon a Time

  39. Krissy says:

    And Timothy Olyphant

  40. nyla says:

Amy Poehler, Sandra Oh, Jane Krakowski, Parks and Rec, Amy Poehler., Amy Poehler, Amy Poehler.

  41. Shannon says:

Any member of the cast of Parenthood

  42. line says:

    Nick Offerman
    Parks and recreation
    Kristen Wiig
    Lauren Graham

    they deserve it soo much!!

  43. Saint Alicia says:

TGW needs it’s recognition! Archie Panjabi supporting actress, Josh Charles supporting actor and Julianna Margulies for best actress (though Claire Danes is going to win).

  44. Jo! says:

  45. OutOfTheBallpark says:

Robert Sean Leonard for supporting actor.

  46. RachelA says:

Max Alder for his guest work on Glee. He more than deserves it.

  47. Liv says:

    Amy Poehler & Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
    End of list.

  48. Karen says:

    Community… and John Noble!
