What to Watch Tuesday: Covert Affairs Spies Spain, L.A. Complex Moves Back In and More

On TV this Tuesday: Covert Affairs travels to bustling Barcelona, White Collar’s Neal is even more wanted than normal, The L.A. Complex’s residents return for Season 2  and Rizzoli & Isles go country. Here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family) | Garrett drops a major clue that sends Hannah and Spencer on separate missions, and Emily has another flashback to “that night.”

9 pm White Collar (USA Network) | Neal’s got a Boba Fett situation on his hands as Collins, a government-sanctioned bounty hunter, aims to bring him back to the U.S. — dead or alive. Among the highlights: Peter getting his Cocktail on as part of a bartender cover.

9 pm The L.A. Complex (The CW) | Season 2 premiere: Kaldrick wants to make things right after beating Tariq to a pulp, but there’s one problem: Tariq’s nowhere to be found.

9 pm Rizzoli & Isles (TNT) | When the Boston PD holds a seminar for medical examiners, an attendee (guest star country singer Craig Morgan) offers to help Jane and Maura solve the murder of husband-and-wife psychiatrists.

9 pm MasterChef (Fox) | Comfort food champion Paula Deen joins the judging panel. (And all the sticks of butter in the MasterChef pantry shiver in fear.)

9 pm Hollywood Heights (Nickelodeon) | Colorado rewards Phil’s loyalty. On the off chance that we’re talking about the state and not about the character, may I add that Denver is absolutely lovely this time of year?

9:30 pm Trust Us With Your Life (ABC) |  Improv comedians re-enact moments from the life of British funny man Ricky Gervais. Isn’t that a little redundant?

10 pm Covert Affairs (USA Network) | Annie and Auggie travel to Barcelona to acquire a computer virus that China wants, too. Bonus points if they pronounce the city’s name as the locally correct Barthelona.

10 pm The Glee Project (Oxygen) | The contestants work on their theatricality as they make a video for Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up.” I can’t be the only person who mistakenly thought the lyrics for this song contained a silly synonym for “bosom” in it, right? Right?

11 pm Political Animals (USA Network) | In case Breaking Bad and/or The Newsroom and/or Longmire overwhelmed your DVR on Sunday, here’s another chance to get acquainted with the power-hungry Barrish clan, in this encore of the “limited series” premiere.

  • Yah no, you’re not the only one. It took me several years and a radio announcer clearly speaking the words to figure out they say groupies.

  • Tuesday is my “nothing on tv” night, so I use it to catch up on missed shows by using on-demand or online.

  • Pretty Little Liars, The LA Complex and Covert Affairs. So glad S2 of The LA Complex is airing in the US soon after S1. I was worried The CW would drop it.

Also anyone else notice that all Covert Affairs episodes are named after David Bowie songs this season? And that S1 was Led Zepplin and S2 REM? Kind of love that.

  • Covert Affairs can’t get the U.S. flag right hanging in some shots. Here’s to hoping the DO use the Spanish pronounciation of Barcalona, but I doubt it.

  • Barthelona is NOT the correct pronunciation in Barcelona! I lived there, and that’s not how they say it.
