We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, here are some queries we’re going to lob at you, from shows including The Closer, White Collar, Covert Affairs, Dallas, General Hospital and Pretty Little Liars.

1 | Are any One Life to Live/”Jolie” fans out there having mixed feelings about General Hospital‘s John/Sam pairing? Because damn, that kiss last Friday on the docks was smolderin‘.

2 | Does Grey’s Anatomy‘s Sarah Drew know that her doppelganger — aka Kim’s new assistant — was on Drop Dead Diva this past Sunday?

3 | Why did The Newsroom‘s Jim know more about Maggie’s panic attacks than she did? It’s your affliction, lady — own it!

4 | As much as we love Talking Dead (and the awesome Michonne scene that got sneak-peeked last Sunday)… Drew Carey as a guest?! OK, so he’s a “fan,” but… really?

5 | Through one-and-a-half seasons now, has Falling Skies‘ Weaver had a single directive or order upheld? It was good to see him call out Tom on that, for once. Also: How hot were Hal and Margaret? When you’ve got us screaming “Kiss!” at the flatscreen, you’re doing something right.

6 | How surprising was it that Savannah Guthrie didn’t toss her cookies during the Today segment where her brother, a member of the Vermont Air National Guard, took her on a Top Gun-style flight? And while we’re at it, doesn’t the entire Today crew seem to be gelling a bit better with the goofy Guthrie playing opposite Matt Lauer?

7 | The Closer fans, did you get a pit in your stomach when that rape victim failed to finger Stroh at the bar, and instead ID’d the employee? Here’s hoping that loathsome legal lizard gets his comeuppance in the finale!

8 | Is it fair to say that Amy Sherman Palladino’s better half, Daniel — who penned this week’s Bunheads — likes Game of Thrones? Also, can we ditch the dance kiddies and just make the show about Michelle and Fanny?

9 | In the pantheon of TV’s Least Convincing Law Enforcement Agents, where does Rachael Leigh Cook’s Perception character rank? The Top 5?

10 | Anyone else grossed out by the egregious rib-eating during Major League Baseball’s Home Run Derby? When there are some of the finest specimens of athleticism doing their thing on the field, we really don’t need to see cutaways of ESPN’s John Kruk burying his face in Kansas City’s finest.

11 | With Bad Girls Club: Mexico featuring fist fights and screaming matches in its season premiere, can we expect half the cast to wind up rotting in an Apodaca prison by the time this installment finishes filming?

12 | At what precise point did Emily become Pretty Little Liars‘ most engaging character?

13 | Was there anything more breathtaking on TV this week than Neal’s New York City sandcastle on White Collar? (But what’s the over/under on the number of hours it took him — or maybe some island minion? — to erect that display?) And on a scale of 1 to Magic Mike, how utterly shameless was the show’s presentation of a wet-and-shirtless, then wet-and-showering, Neal?

14 | Will it be disappointing — or refreshing — if Sarah Clarke’s Covert Affairs character turns out not to be a treasonous mole a la 24‘s Nina? And how does Annie Walker’s hair manage to still look fab even with bits of Jai all over it? (Is it because Jai himself sported a nice coiffe?)

15 | Wasn’t it starting to feel like The Glee Project was just beating up on Charlie for no reason? And how come there was no mention of his personal story about living with ADD? (After all, isn’t it an “inspiration contest”?)

16 | Wasn’t it awfully convenient for Dallas to have the key to grandpa’s safe deposit box right there in his old desk long forgotten in storage? And wasn’t it awfully convenient for said safe deposit box to in fact contain the deed aka legal loophole Bobby needed? And can Josh Ross please stop talking mean to the obviously crazy lady Marta?

17 | How badly do we wish that Yvonne Strahovski could use her adorable/sexy Aussie voice on Dexter?

19 | Didn’t So You Think You Can Dance‘s hugely pregnant choreographer Tabatha D’uomo look like she was about to give birth right there in the audience of this week’s episode? (Were you with us in kind of wishing she’d push an already excellent episode over the top by going into labor on live TV?)

20 | Were Quddus and Robin Thicke purposely trying to insult Jason Farrol by suggesting his success on Duets is largely due to teenage girls? Or was it just their roundabout way of praising his looks?

21 | Can we have Rookie Blue arrested for damn near destroying us with the final Oliver/daughter Izzy scene?

22 | Has anyone more blatantly lobbied for a pay bump than American Idol‘s hemming, hawing Jennifer Lopez? What’s the saying — quit or get off the pot?

John and Sam’s kiss was smoldering! I love these two so much, always have since Michael Easton and Kelly Monaco were together on the soap “Port Charles” as a sexy vampire couple. Can’t believe my luck in seeing them reunited as love interests 10 years later! John is way better for Sam than Jason. I have never been a fan of the JaSam pairing, they’ve always bored me to tears and I do not find Jason attractive at all. He has no emotional depth. I don’t care about Natalie so she can stay off-screen. One Life To Live is over and people need to accept that fact. Michael Easton is too hot to stay on screen without a love interest while he talks to non-existent phone!Natalie. How ridiculous is that? Especially when he has so much chemistry with Kelly Monaco? The writers need to pair John and Sam together. They are fresh, new, and sexy!

- Agree. That’s what this show need. And let me add both ME and KM compliment each others talents. They are believable. Jolie was just a scripted couple and (ME & MA) neither brought the couple to life. I ff their scenes. I hope GH doesn’t make the mistake and bring Nat to GH. She’s not wanted or needed.

- yep the ME/kemo chemistry has the everyone buzzing, some even saying if well written for they will have a homegrown supercouple on their hands just with the pure raw chemistry between Kemo and Michael and I love what ME said in his interview about looking into Kelly’s eyes, those eyes he had looked at for so long and it was all still there *swoon*

  - Tell me about it! Everyone’s talking about it, whether it’s good or bad. Which is a good thing if you ask me because at least people are talking about the soap for once. Depending on what site you go to, you’re going to hear all kinds of things being said of the pair, some are for and some are against. Gotta say this is the worst as far as comments go which really shows their maturity level. From some of the things I’ve read you have your JaSam & Jolie fans. Then you have your Liason fans who are in favor of McBam just to have their pair reunited. Then you have your former JaSam fans like myself who have come to hate the pair and have jumped ship and love the chemistry that ME & KM bring to the screen. Then you have Sam FF who for the first time ever actually like Sam and that’s now because of John. He’s finally brought her character to life according to them and has been able to shine and get out of Jason’s shadow. So there are more people for McBam than one would think & more than 2 fan bases talking, hence all the buzz.

    - You forgot a fanbase- the Calivia fans who saw them as a supercouple on Port Charles and STILL see the chemistry smokin’ hot- which rarely, if ever, happens when reuniting an old supercouple as two new characters on a new soap (even if it is same town/ same setting)- and it would be a shame to quench such potential! In the past years, Soapnet re-aired the arcs of Port Charles with KeMO & ME – and even more joined the ranks of Calivia and now McBam. These two are so much more interesting than any pairing I’ve seen on GH for a long time! They are the reason I remained with GH! Go McBAM!!! For the win!

- I loved them on PC too. But they aren’t Caleb and Livvie. Hell Sam be interested if she at least 1% of Livvie in here but as she doesn’t she’s more boring than mud. John I do like always have always will but he’s cheating on his wife… and no I don’t like it. And yes I don’t like even more because a) Not a Sam fan and b) I am a Jolie fan who was HAPPY at their ending and I hate when soaps destroy a couple with half of the couple off screen. Always have.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Jasam but have to admit that McBam has TONS of chemistry. Still hoping for jasam reunion tho. If someone doesnt think that jasam has chemitry needs to watch old clips. Any new viewer in the last few months have not been privileged to see the hotness of jasam as well as the chemistry of mcbam. I just love the character of sam mccall morgan

I do not like at all that John kissed Sam at all. First I don’t like that he cheated on Natalie and it’s ruining the happy ever after he had with his family. John finally got what he had been dreaming about for soooo long, he would be out of his mind to risk that. I altogether have a hard time believing his contrived story line and this “connection” with Sam is stupid. Sam is boring and a mobsters wife which is really not John’s thing so I don’t even see how he would even go near her. John is dull near her, he needs Natalie and Liam and then we will see a couple who lights up our screen.

      - I think they pretty much picked up their big guns from that show and as for John knowing that FV chose him to be Kemo’s patner in the what if webisodes, by the way the most watched of them all, he must have already known there would be no need for Natalie because there was a chem magnet waiting in PC to bring out the hotness of Mcbain and boy was he right, that kiss was Mchot, however for storyline purposes I would preffer John/Anna now there would be a dynamic duo and not some pretend forensics whatever she was.

I’m a Jasam, Jolie, and Caleb/Livvie fan. I don’t get why everybody is so upset. Even I knew they would do something with McBam. I still think it’s gonna come out that Sam is the real Theresa. Sounds gross but Alexis, Lulu, etc. have kissed someone not knowing they were related. And I gotta say Alexis and Stefan were hot before they found out. They even did a “What If?” with McBain and Sam. I think the Jolie reunion got pushed back cause they don’t know if MA is going to be involved. But I have no doubt Jolie will come back stronger than ever. Just like Jasam will. It’s the cycle of soaps. Your couple gets happy just to have some crap storyline thrown at them. Btw, what’s with all the Sam hate? She’s not perfect but I can think of 50 characters who are worse than she is. Her character has been trashed by previous writers of the show just like Elizabeths has. Sam would never of put Jake in danger and Liz would never have slept with Nik. IMO, their characters have suffered the worst. Hopefully this new team can clean up the mess left by others. I still have hope for Jasam and LnL2 to be endgame

Oliver absolutely killed me last night!!!! I have hope he can work things out with his wife. Rookie Blue had done an amazing job with the cast this season. Now I just need some Sandy action

  - I can certainly understand that. I loved the OLTL finale, especially Jolie. There are 2 reasons why I’m not worried: 1) I really do think McBam are related. 2) The writers who gave us the Jolie reunion are writing McBam. They loved Jolie just as much as the fans did. I don’t see them putting all that love and effort into them just to screw them up months later. Plus they know we will hunt them down if they do too much damage to them

    - I like your theory, Rumors of Mcbam being related made the rounds for a while but then once the whole Terresa having been killed aired, they died and now with the Kiss, its burried but, I have watched soaps for too long that i think they will play on this connection that these two have and for now because they dont know what it is, they will think maybe they have feelings for eachother, clouded by their need to protect eachother and right before they really go in for the kill and bam, hello Terresa meet you brother John, then let the agenda shippers heads explode, lol. Honestly though, there is a reason they are messing with two couples who’s histories just does not support what is currently happening, hoping its for them to come out stronger and better well if not for Jolie because of MA’s availability, but for my Jasam babies.

- preach it my friend, preach it, the Jolie fans are all turning out calling sam names when its their boy they should be callingl the names. he is the one supposedly committed to Natalie and not sam so, but that aside, Natalie herself is no angel, not by a long shot but we’ll just leave it at that. Direct your anger towards your writers, they were the ones who wrote the Jolie love story and they are the ones that are writing Mcbam, if they treasured them that much they would not destroy their own writing. I would understand if John had moved to PC and Gh was being written by different writers who did not create the John character, then I would say they dont know who he is, but its the same writers who wrote him on OLTL who are writing him now, so the blame solely lies at their feet for not “honoring” their history, yet at the same time, most can understand that this is about moving forward and they see an oportunity to take John in a different direction and they jumped on it, what that means for his past, they will decide, “hopefully the rumored plaincrash is just that and a rumor” otherwise I feel for Kemo, some of these fans are taking their frustration out on her for a kiss, only god knows what will happen should the writers chose to wipeout John’s baggage, we may have case of Jiz fans on our hands in regards to kelly.

I stopped watching Port Charles long before it was cancelled. I don’t need to see a CaliviaLite redux. If GH wanted to go there, it should have brought Michael Easton on as a new character, not John, because John always loved Natalie. They were the soulmate couple with the “connection” from the first day they met. The kiss just seemed awkward.

I can’t believe they went there with Sam/John talk about making more than two much need large fan bases very very angry!!! Who The H-ll thinks alinating two large fan bases to make one new one is going to help the ratings? actually is more then two fan bases….you have Jasam, Jolie, OLTLers that arent jolie but didnt like the distruction of johns character…Natalie’s fan base…and the list of a few more……..I mean really what would it have hurt to bring Natalie on GH she doesnt have to be on contract could be on reaccuring…. Sam and John just don’t cut it for me at all! They do not make since, we have a conection we can’t explain? really? yeah Jasam goes back 8 or 9yrs and so Does Jolie! lets just erase all that history for a quick hook up….or where ever they think they are going with this! I know I have decided its so out of character I couldnt watch it made me sick…and wasnt entertaining it was like rubbing salt in a open wound of losing OLTL made me feel like I lost OL twice! And Jasam is another story really? Jasam fans waited so long for a wedding and a baby then they get and the new writers come in and through John a character in from onther soap to break all that up…..Both fan bases have a right to be upset this should have been done in a way better way

McBam is the Hottest Couple on GH. They are a Supercouple. Michael and Kellys Chemistry is magical.John and SAm are The only reason I am watching. JOkie and JaSAm can’t compare to John and Sams Chemistry. Why because Jokie and JaSam don’t have any Chem at all.

John and Natalie belong together.! John is yin to Nat’s yang and vice versa, not to mention that they’re funny together. If Ron Carlavati and Frank Valentini don’t know that most women want more than a “quick roll in the hay”, then maybe they should brush up on their Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters, or even Nicholas Sparks.

McBam is hot, no two ways about it. Their chemistry is off the charts and they need to continue this forbidden romance and make them a couple! Most interesting/dynamic in a pairing on GH I’ve seen so far, in a very long time! THIS is supercouple material.

      - I don’t see that- you do. Who you described was Jolie and JaSam to me. But it’s all subjective. To me, McBam is the most interesting story/pairing I’ve seen on this soap in a long time and the only reason I still tune in. I see no awkwardness- only a natural feeling to be around each other as if they’ve known one another forever. By your username, I understand where such anger comes from- so let me say, I’m sorry that your couple has been treated like this, but it’s a soap and all soaps do it. Break couples up for a time. No doubt Jolie and JaSam will probably be end game, but RC likes to have his fun in between and we both know, being OLTL viewers (I watched both shows for 6 years) no couple on there was safe or happy for long. That’s how RC works. Again, I’m sorry you’re upset, but I have no doubt if he does go with McBam, like so many of us are hoping, it will be for a short time and he will no doubt bring something to break them up too or put them at odds with one another. I expect it. It’s what RC does. But I’m enjoying this so much right now- it’s been a dream of 5 years to see these two work together again in a soap and a double joy to see they haven’t lost it (to me). Let me ask you, though, if MA couldn’t come back or didn’t want to, or for whatever reason it wouldn’t work- would you want a recast as Natalie?

I was a OLTL fan and I hate what they have done with the OLTL characters. Disgusting. Killing little Hope, making John a deadbeat dad and a lying cheat(for Sam?…) I had to stop watching. I wish Natalie would come to GH for a visit and dump John.

This McBam crap is a bunch of Contrived BS, the character of John has lost his essence since going to GH, the story line is a joke and dont even get me started on this connection, its a slap in the face to us Calivia fans, John aint not Caleb and Sam is no Livvie.. Why even bring ME on as John, why not another character.. As a woman i dont want to watch cheating, who would? Especially when as far as we now Natalie hasnt even done anything to even remotely make him turn this road, she is taking care of their son ALONE like she always has and John is trying to stick his **** in Sam,This screams STD to me. I use to love John on OLTL now i cant even watch him, GH has taken all the improvement he has made over the last 9 years and threw it out, what a shame and a waste of a talented actor..Wake me when this madness is OVER!

I have watched GH on and off for eons and just got back into the show within the last few months. At one time I was a Jason/Sam fan, but there is something special about Sam/John that really draws me in. Bring it on!

GH has ruined John for me. I cannot watch his scenes anymore. This storyline is a major turnoff and the kiss itself, was stomach churning.

#8 – I don’t watch GoT. Can someone clue me in on how Monday’s “Bunheads” was similar?

Also, I’m obviously in the minority here, but I like the girls as much as I like Michelle and Fanny and their interactions. The girls kind of remind us what the show is about and why it’s called “Bunheads.” (I know, I know – sometimes shows stray from their original premise. But this show seems too new for that to happen now). So what if the characters talk faster than in real life? No one ever complained about that with “Gilmore Girls” (that I heard of). Although my question about this show is: when is Michelle going to start helping out at the dance school, as originally stated? We’re already 4 episodes in and I was under the impression that the teaching started in the first or second episode. She’s been clear from the start that she wants to dance again.

I was really glad this season when it became clear from the first episode they were totally going down the Hal/Maggie road, not the Hal/Lordis road. I’ve been rooting for Hal and Maggie to get together ever since she helped kidnap him in the first episode

Re #1 I was a Jolie fan in the beginning, but after John’s relationship with Evangeline, imo there was never really the Jolie I loved again. They tried and tried, but I just didn’t buy it anymore. I loved Natalie and Jared. John is much more interesting on GH than he ever was on OLTL. I would like Natalie to cross over to GH just long enough to have it out with John though. I hated Natalie by the end of OLTL but she still needs to show her spitfire self one last time. OLTL which was my favorite soap is sadly over. That McBam kiss was hot athough inappropriate at the moment. I really really am trying to feel sorry for jason, but I just can’t do it. Of course, it was hilarious watching Sam dig herself a whole snapping about the Liz/Jason kiss full well knowing what she’d done with John. Stupid Sam!

1. No. I really liked Natalie and John. I just can’t get into this Sam and John thing. It is wrong on many levels. I wish they would put Sam back with Jason and then send them far, far, away. I have NEVER liked Jason. And Sam is almost as unpopular with me. This is all ridiculous now. It is making me glad AMC is gone. Thankful I don’t have to watch my favorite AMC couples get screwed with in attempt to merge them onto another show.

13. The NYC sand castle was freaking amazing! I really want to know how that was made. USA, please put a behind the scenes feature on your website! Also, I would say the wet/showering shirtless Neal was probably not quite “Magic Mike” level of shameless, but maybe a couple (small) steps below. And, like Bomer in “Magic Mike”, it was spectacular. If I have to put up with nonsensical storytelling then they had also better meet their shirtless Matt Bomer quota. At least one shirtless Bomer scene for every scene of Peter making an idiotic mistake he shouldn’t be making.

19. Obviously, yes. CBS is asking for it, though. They tried to get rights to the BBC’s “Sherlock” and failed. And then went ahead with their project anyway. Therefore, they deserve all the critical and fan comparisons that come their way. They are darned lucky that “Sherlock” won’t be back on the air for a year and a half. I’ll give CBS’s version a shot. But, I just cannot see how it could top the utterly amazing BBC “Sherlock”. Hopefully CBS will surprise me.

How do I feel about Sam and John? CLICK! Tuned out for rest of the week. Don’t think I will tune back in. Please can GH start concentrating on romance and not sleaze?! Stop wasting time on junk. Saw the kiss and couldn’t even get mad, that’s how boring these two are together. I don’t know what people saw in them before when they were on that other show but they are as interesting as watching paint dry now. If they bring Natalie played by Melissa Archer to PC maybe I’ll think about watching again because between the Sam hour and her whining and crying all the time, John boring and cheating and all the recycled OLTL storylines it’s going to take something or someone with fire and oomph like Natalie to turn this around and kick everyone’s ass. So to answer the question in three short words, McBam is McLAME.

Not many Savannah/TODAY comments….perhaps I am not the only one that missed the segment since I was watching GMA? No hatred toward the today cast…I actually miss them and feel a tad guilty. But…gotta take a stand somewhere and how the “powers that be” went about the Ann Curry situation was disgusting enough to make me change the channel. I am sure the GMA cast will grow on me given time AND I’ve seen some familiar faces from NBC!

I loved John McBain on OLTL, but Natalie was a big reason for that. He just doesn’t seem to fit on GH and definitely not with Sam! Bring his family to town (Natalie and Liam) and maybe I will become a regular view again. As far as a “smoldering” kiss….I’ve seen so many hotter and better. That one was lackluster and forced IMO.

13. between a long extended scene of Neal wet and shirtless and that magnificent NYC sand skyline, White Collar has managed to make THE single MOST BEAUTIFUL tv episode of all time. Any show that things they can match/surpass it is completely deluded. Huge round of applause to the WC props department for creating that amazing skyline, and loving that the writers and producers of the show are embracing every aspect of the definition of eye candy – Matt Bomer.

Let McBain go back and stay in Llanview. Please do not reunite Jason and Elizabeth – they already determined that she can’t accept his lifestyle and nothing has changed with that regard. Also, while Jason was in a coma, all his ‘dreams’ led back to Sam. Sam and Jason may need some time a part to resolve their internal anger, but they should reunite BEFORE they discover their baby is alive.
