TVLine Items: First Look at Britney on X Factor, Firefly 10th Anniversary Special and More!

Fox has unveiled its first look at Britney Spears as an all-new X Factor judge, and — who’da thunk it? — she’s kinda hardcore.

The onetime Princess of Pop gives resident meanie Simon Cowell a run for his money in the brutally honest department, telling some contestants that their performances were, respectively, “very predictable” and “bad to the bone.”

  1. Ally says:

I liked X-Factor last year. I liked Simon, Paula and L.A. Reid but hated Nicole. Glad she’s gone but I hate Britney Spears even more (after her episode on Glee I was so disgusted I quit watching the show). Therefore that is a show I refuse to watch.

    • Greg says:

lol she was on it for less than a minute total… and who quits watching a show because of a one off guest star, a bit over dramatic?

      • Mike says:

About as dramatic as the show she quit, it seems.

      • Ally says:

It wasn’t just her–it was her “music”. Seeing Glee members singing her songs made me sick and I couldn’t look at them the same anymore. I started watching it again this past season though as the trauma has faded in my mind somewhat.

        • TigerNightmare says:

Glee is full of crap music. Freaking Bieber. I don’t like one tenth of the pop hits they cover as well as they do them. The older the songs they do, the more I like them, but as far as current songs, they will probably NEVER cover anything I like now, despite Ryan Murphy’s record of plentiful indie music on Nip/Tuck.

  3. essam says:

WOW! Woulda never guessed Britney to be that way. Figured she would be very shy & reserved. SO excited to see this in September!

  4. connie says:

I am very iffy about Britney on X Factor. Because she has walked out twice. I am glad to see her be very decisive. The one that i don’t think was good choice was Demi Lovato. I will try it and see.

  5. I don’t see a video, I see a pound sign.

  6. Alan says:
