TVLine Items: Terry Crews Enters The Newsroom, Erin Andrews' Fox Debut, Covert Intel and More!

HBO’s just-renewed Newsroom is expanding its already massive cast with the addition of Everybody Hates Chris alum Terry Crews.

Per EW.com, the Are We There Yet? actor has landed a recurring role on the freshman drama, playing bodyguard — and unofficial life coach — to Jeff Daniels’ Will McAvoy.

Look for Crews, who will appear in five episodes, to join The Newsroom in Episode 6 (airing July 29).
