It’s official: Glee is a slave for Britney Spears.

Fox’s musical dramedy is planning to pay tribute to the pop icon — and new X Factor judge — for a second time, EW.com reports.

Unlike the first homage circa September 2010, the Season 4 showcase — which will feature eight of Spears’ songs — will not focus solely on Heather Morris’ doofy Brittany. Also, while Spears isn’t currently attached to again put in a cameo, the producers are hopeful she’ll appear in some way, shape or form. They are all Fox family members now!

• Former Community co-showrunners Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan have been tapped to helm Fox’s new comedy Ben & Kate. (Take a peek at the Nat Faxon-starring sitcom here.)

• Adult Swim is developing an animated version of Harold & Kumar, the big-screen stoner saga.

• ABC has ordered a third season of Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition, per TV Guide Magazine. The summer reality series’ second cycle, meanwhile, is set to launch June 3.

  - Sadly that’s not the way Glee works. Every episode centered around one performer’s music always is horribly light on plot.

Britney’s one liners have been lacking this season, as in we needed more of them.
Hopefully they will make up for it in the last few episodes of the season.

What songs will they cover, I wonder? Butchering “Sometimes” and “Lucky” is probably high on their priority list. wait, did they do Lucky already? Can’t remember.
