THE BACHELORETTE – Emily Maynard, the beautiful, sweet, young mom who captured America's and Brad Womack's heart on the 15th season of “The Bachelor,” finally thought she had her happy ending. She accepted Brad's proposal and was looking forward to walking down the aisle. Unfortunately her relationship with Brad ended, along with her dream of moving to Austin with her daughter, Ricki, and starting a family. But Emily is ready for her luck to change and to bring her the love she so richly deserves. It's hard to meet men as a single mom, but Emily will have her pick of 25 bachelors when she gets a second opportunity to find love starring in the eighth edition of “The Bachelorette” when it premieres this spring on the ABC Television Network. Hot Oregon-based lumber trader meets unlucky-at-love southern single mom? Sounds like an alternate premise for ABC's much missed dramedy Men in Trees, no?
Looks like he came straight from central casting, but then again, so does our Bachelorette! “Pro sports trainer” tangentially close enough to celebrity world that he should be able to handle cameras 24/7.
May possess enough southern charm — and authentic plaid shirts — to charm a down-home South Carolina gal.
Nothing immediately offensive and/or troubling jumps out about this guy. And we all know this franchise loves a Ken-like cypher on which a gal can project all her hopes and dreams!
Cute in a non-smarmy way. Let's hope we don't find out he 'recruits' models for Girls Gone Wild.
Well-dressed, good job, easy on the eyes. But can she trust a man with such carefully sculpted stubble?
Based on physical attributes, he could be the Ken to Emily's Barbie. At 25, though, is he too young?
'Energy' seems like a solid business. Those jeans are a little troubling though.
As a biology teacher, chances are he's passed more stringent psychological/background checks than he faced getting on the show. Plus, he should know about the dangers of murky hottubs.
There may be some fighting in the bathroom over who gets dibs on the styling products. Just sayin'.
Wait. Everything I know about The Bachelor franchise says people stop existing past the age of 40.
Wait, is this a person of color? He does realize this is The Bachelorette on ABC, right?
Mushroom farmer? What kind of mushrooms?
Define 'fitness model,' please.
Only if he and Emily can get past his penchant for pastel plaid horror.
I dunno. This dude could be French or something.
Lack of dress shirt and Flajnik-esque hair is troubling.
If you'll pardon a TLC reference, 'entrepreneur' is all too often code for 'livin' at home with your mama.' Plus, what happened to the extra 'f' in his name?
Rehab counselor? His services might come in handy once the poolside bacchanals begin.
A luxury brand consultant named Kalon? Did this dude come in from the set of Bold & The Beautiful?
Sorry, sir, but everything happening below the dimpled chin is a cause for disqualification.
Uh-oh. 'Singer/songwriter' is often Bachelorette code for 'looking for exposure for my music career'/'NOT HERE FOR THE RIGHT REASONS.'
He lost us at 'AKA Wolf.'
Do the show's producers have no shame? (Of course not.) Emily's late fiancé/father of her daughter was a race car driver, too.
A “party emcee from Staten Island.” Apologies for stereotyping, but go directly to Bachelor Pad. Do not pass go, and do not collect $200.
