Get More: Previews, What to Watch

On TV this Monday: Gossip Girl‘s Dan ponders a Roman holiday, How I Met Your Mother‘s Marshall is father dazed, House confronts the C-word, Castle battles the Z-word, Charlie spooks Two and a Half Men and more. May sweeps is already in full swing, folks, so in addition to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are 11 programs to keep on your radar.

Bones Sneak Peek: Max to the Rescue!

8 pm Gossip Girl (The CW) | Chuck, Nate, Blair, Serena and Lola team up to uncover what they think is an explosive secret between Diana and Jack; Dan is offered a prestigious fellowship in Rome for the summer. Oh nos!

8 pm The Voice (NBC) | In the penultimate round of performances, the final two members of each team sing for their lives. Or at least to make it to next Monday.

8 pm How I Met Your Mother (CBS) | When Lily has a baby shower, Marshall starts to panic about his imminent parenthood; Ted and Robin come to terms with their relationship.

8:30 pm 2 Broke Girls (CBS) | Max’s babysitting gig is in peril if the cupcakes she and Caroline deliver to Peach’s socialite friend aren’t perfect. (That is CBS’ own alliteration, not mine. I’ll give them an 8.)

Exclusive Hart of Dixie Sneak Peek: Zoe and Wade Partner Up

9 pm House (Fox) | In “The C-Word,” directed by series lead Hugh Laurie, House and Wilson take a little vacation in the wake of the latter’s Stage 2 cancer diagnosis. Meanwhile, the team suspects that a doctor mom’s determination to cure her daughter could be the very thing that is killing her.

9 pm The Pitch (AMC) | This new reality series chronicles the high stakes and tight deadlines that ad agencies face when they gun for a new piece of business, Don Draper-style. First up: SK+G & The AD Store woo Waste Management.

9 pm Make It or Break It (ABC Family) | Watch it while you can! When Lauren is told that her heart condition requires surgery, Payson seeks out another doctor with a medical alternative; Kaylie and Jordan become unlikely roommates.

9 pm Two and a Half Men (CBS) | After Alan suffers a minor heart attack, his brother Charlie’s ghost — played by Kathy Bates! — pays a visit to his hospital bedside. Oh, the misery.

9:30 pm Mike & Molly (CBS) | When Mike’s dad comes to town early for his son’s bachelor party, Peggy decides she should attend Molly’s bachelorette bash and thus turns it into a raucous affair.

Matt’s Inside Line: Scoop on the Flirty Hawaii Five-0/NCIS: LA Crossover, House and More

10 pm Hawaii Five-0 (CBS) | Crossover, Part 1: Five-0 and the NCIS: Los Angeles task force team up in Hawaii when a suspect on the loose threatens to release a deadly virus into the population. Enver Gjokaj (Dollhouse) guest-stars.

10 pm Castle (ABC) | Investigating the murder of a man with human bite marks on his body, Castle and Beckett delve into New York’s zombie subculture to find the killer and bring him in — dead, undead or alive. (Again, that’s the network’s wordplay, and I wholly endorse it.)

  • I have volleyball tonight so my 2 DVRs will be getting a workout. Hawaii 5-0, Castle, Smash, House, Heart of Dixie, The Voice, 2 Broke Girls, and Lost Girl. I watched the pilot of Smash and have the rest saved to watch over the summer, everything else will be watched at some point this week. I used to watch Gossip Girl but I had about 6 episodes saved when my DVR died in February and I found that I didn’t miss it at all.

  • No comments re: Two and a Half Men??????? Really???????? Why are the rating numbers so high when the show totally sucks? No redeeming value whatsoever. Charlie Sheen I wish you had kept yourself together last year so we wouldn’t be subjected to Walden and his life. It is just the worst show on television.
