What to Watch: The TVLine-Up for Wednesday

On TV this Wednesday: Modern Family lobbies for your vote, Criminal Minds, CSI, SVU and Psych all reopen old cases, much delicious Revenge is recounted and more. All in all, here are 11 programs to keep on your radar.

8:30 pm Suburgatory (ABC) | When Dallas’ divorce is finalized, George is concerned — so he takes her shopping; Dalia makes a breakthrough in therapy with her psychiatrist (Inside the Actors Studio host James Lipton).

8:30 pm Best Friends Forever (NBC) | Jessica is frantic after she butt-dials her estranged husband (My Boys‘ Reid Scott) — and his unexpected arrival in town only makes things worse.

American Idol: What Should the Top 7 Cover for Songs of the Current Decade?

9 pm Ghost Hunters (Syfy) | Spring premiere: Grant’s Wilson’s final six investigations with the team start with tonight’s episode, as he and Jay investigate potential frat house ghosts. (Maybe they’re playing beer pong?)

9 pm Criminal Minds (CBS) | When Morgan’s sister (Fame‘s Erica Gimpel) sees a woman who looks like their presumed-dead cousin (Shameless‘ Shanola Hampton), it forces Morgan to confront a lie he told his family last year and compels the BAU to reopen her case.

9 pm Modern Family (ABC) | Election day has finally arrived, and the whole family rallies for some last minute campaigning — including Mitch and Cam riding around in a “Vote for Claire” mobile.

9:30 pm Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 (ABC) | Series premiere: Chloe (Breaking Bad‘s Krysten Ritter), a New York party girl with the morals of a pirate, bullies her naïve, small-town roommate (Gossip Girl’s Dreama Walker). Oh, and she happens to be best friends with James Van Der Beek (playing a parodied version of himself). Check out our preview Q&A!

Matt’s Inside Line: Scoop on Retro Revenge, a new Psych Romance and More!

10 pm Psych (USA Network) | Season 6 finale: After more than 20 years of searching, Veronica Towne’s body has been found, so Shawn & Co. reopen the case and revisit all the old suspects. 90210‘s Rob Estes and One Tree Hill‘s Amanda Schull guest-star.

10 pm CSI (CBS) | When Stokes learns that a man he helped put in prison is going to have his conviction overturned, the team needs to prove the killer is guilty again, lest he be released. Without a Trace‘s Enrique Murciano guest-stars.

10 pm Law & Order: SVU (NBC) | The SVU is forced to reopen an old rape case to determine if they are dealing with a copycat or a case of wrongful imprisonment; Benson and Haden’s relationship comes under fire. All My Children‘s Mark Consuelos guest-stars.

10 pm Revenge: From the Beginning (ABC) | Missing Nolan and Queen Victoria? This recap special lets viewers catch up with the Revengenda before the hit drama returns on April 18. P.S. You can also check out some sneak peek photos from next week’s episode.

10 pm America’s Best Dance Crew (MTV) | Season 7 opens with the dance teams working with a Britney Spears theme.

  • *yawn* Catch up on DVR night for sure.
Might catch CSI but haven’t they done this type of story several times over already throughout the years?

    • Yes, I think they just go through old story lines sometimes and think “well, which character that’s still on the show could handle this?”. Either that or they forget…they re-use guest stars often enough (without having them play the same character) that I might lean toward the latter option. I love CSI but…really? So much more they could be exploring right now besides yet another Nick-centric episode.

  • Why is Grant leaving Ghost Hunters? He was always my favorite. I will have to watch his final episodes.

  • Spoiler alert for Ghost Hunters: they won’t find any ghosts, they’ll turn off the lights for no reason, they’ll scare themselves by bumping into things, will fail to apply the scientific process properly, and will spend the whole show sceaming “what was that?!” you know, just like every episode…cause ghosts are make-believe and thus don’t actually exist.

    • Don’t Trust the B is really good, I just watched the first 2 episodes on ABC.com and it’s promising. So far, Krysten Ritter and James Van Der Beek are hilarious, the other girl can still get there.
