Ratings: Hope Rises, DWTS and New Girl Dip, Voice Tops Tuesday Demos

The Voice‘s first results show of the season led all of Tuesday programs in the coveted 18-49 demo, scoring a 3.2 rating.

That said, in total viewers NBC’s singing competition placed third in the 9 o’clock hour — behind Dancing With the Stars (the night’s most-watched program, at 15.4 mil) and an NCIS: LA repeat — while both its audience and demo delivery were down 22 percent from Monday’s sing-off.

* Dancing With the Stars‘ recap hour (9.5 mil/1.8) was down 10 percent week-to-week, while the actual results show dipped 13 percent in the demo.

* Fox’s Raising Hope (3.92 mil/1.6) inched up 3 and 7 percent, while New Girl (4.6 mil/2.3), leading out of a Hope rerun, was down 8 and 12 percent, hitting a new demo low. Breaking In (2.7 mil/1.3) dipped a tenth in the demo.

* Ringer, with just over a million viewers and a 0.4 rating, was down 9 percent and a tenth.

* The conclusion of Body of Proof‘s “viral” two-parter dominated the 10 o’clock hour with 10.7 million total viewers (up 11 percent) and a 2.0 rating (flat), opposite an Unforgettable repeat and NBC’s Fashion Star (steady at 5.1 mil/1.5)
