The TVLine-Up: TV Worth Watching This Monday

On TV this Monday: Bachelor Ben chooses the woman with whom he will find true love and spend the rest of his life, the Pretty Little Liars get dolled up, a Psych star receives a RAW deal and more. You’re gonna be out playing Frisbee with the fam tonight (with Daylight Savings and all), but humor me and consider these seven viewing options.

8 pm The Bachelor (ABC) | It’s the season finale, and time for the Final Rose. Will word of Courtney’s treatment of the other bachelorettes rub Ben’s family the wrong way?

8 pm The Voice (NBC) | Battle rounds, Week 2: Encouraged by their coaches and superstar advisers, the artists pair up to sing do-or-die duets. Hey, Duets is the name of Kelly Clarkson’s new singing series! That’s funny.

8 pm Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family) | In this season’s penultimate episode, the hunt for answers about what Ali knew leads Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer to a rundown doll hospital. (Seriously, what is TV’s obsession with dolls this winter?!) Meanwhile, Jenna’s surgery brings about more than just the possibility of regaining her sight.

Save the Dates: March’s Big Premieres and Finales!

9 pm Alcatraz (Fox) | An innocent Alcatraz inmate returns… to commit crimes. (That’s what we call irony.)

9 pm WWE Monday Night RAW (USA Network) | Psych‘s “Shawn Spencer” (also known as James Roday) rumbles with “The Miz” and other Superstars in Chillicothe Cleveland, Ohio.

9 pm Being Human (Syfy) | Josh’s best friend returns from the dead; Aidan lends Henry a hand; Sally’s confrontation with the Reaper rocks her to the core.

2012 Renewal Scorecard: What’s Coming Back? What’s Getting Axed? What’s on the Bubble?

10 pm Smash (NBC) | Ivy faces major vocal issues, while Karen books a side gig at a bar mitzvah. (Sigh, that’s how the end began for the Black Eyed Peas.)

I’m glad James Roday gave it another go, since he got sick when he and Dule were to do it the first time. Does your wording mean that he’s performing in his psych character, or is he doing RAW as an amped-up version of himself?

  2. Juan says:

First thing first, I though the commercial for the bachelor was hilarious I don’t watch it but the music from OUAT and the whole good vs evil was just too funny lol

Will watch PLL(we’re about to find out so very excited), Voice, and Smash, Being human, and lost girl

A rare mention of WWE Raw on TVLine? Maybe Ausiello can hit us up with some WrestleMania spoilers.

  10. Tee says:

Lost Girl on Syfy, that’s probably about it for tonight. How strange, Mondays used to make my poor DVR cry.

  11. mdaily says:

*peeking out* are we safe from any more Daytona races interrupting the Alcatraz episode with Mahershala Ali?

Looking forward to Alcatraz *happy dance* ’cause of Ali (love him since his days on the 4400) and Smash. The latter has become strangely addictive. It must be because it reminds me so much of a good Broadway play.

  12. Lorie says:

Why so many reruns lately?! Smash is it for me tonight. Can’t wait for DWTS to return next week!

  13. Natalie says:

Bah, looks like nothing will be on my DVR when I get home.

  24. texmac12 says:

Watching The Lying Game from the start. That final reveal last week makes watching the series again as thought we’ve seeing it for the first time. Just the best TV show with THE biggest reveal since, EVER!
