The TVLine-Up: TV Worth Watching This Sunday

Get More: TVLine-Ups

On TV this Sunday: Sex scandals on The Good Wife and Harry’s Law, Army Wives gets a new face on the base, Oprah speaks with Whitney Houston‘s family and more. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features, here are a 10 programs you might want to keep on your radar.

Once Upon a Time First Look: The Tale of Red Riding Hood Goes to a ‘Dark Place’

8 pm Harry’s Law (NBC) | New time slot alert! Harry and Adam face off against a lawyer from Harry’s past — and each other; Tommy calls on Oliver for help with a girlfriend who is suing him for “Sex under False Pretenses.” (Yes, it is as ridiculous as it sounds.)

8:30 pm Bob’s Burgers (Fox) | Season 2 premiere: When the kids hunt for treasure in an abandoned taffy factory, Bob and Linda must find them before the factory’s scheduled demolition. Cindy Lauper performs.

Shameless Son on ‘Beginning of the End’ for Lip and Karen, Hurricane Monica’s Return and More

9 pm The Good Wife (CBS) | Alicia must once again aid Colin Sweeney (returning bad penny Dylan Baker) when a sexual misconduct claim derails his attempt to win back control of his company. Cheers‘ Bebe Neuwirth and Homeland‘s Morena Baccarin guest-star. (Get scoop here.)

9 pm The Walking Dead (AMC) | The group learns that someone dangerous may be on the loose near the farm, so as night falls, Rick, Shane, Daryl and Glenn comb the woods to keep the group safe. Yeah, good luck with that.

9 pm Oprah’s Next Chapter (OWN) | Oprah sits down with Whitney Houston’s family to address the rumors and speculation surrounding her death; Bobbi Kristina shares personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered.

9 pm Army Wives (Lifetime) | Pamela struggles with being so far away from Chase; Denise’s old friend (new cast member Kelli Williams, Lie to Me) becomes a new (and not necessarily friendly) face on the base.

Tonight’s Desperate Housewives Death Revealed: ‘It’s Actually Brilliant,’ Says Killed-Off Star

10 pm GCB (ABC) | Free Pass No. 2: Amanda becomes concerned that Laura will be branded a “Javelina” (a not-so cute-girl), a name that Amanda coined in high school; Gigi decides to throw a luncheon in Amanda’s honor in an effort to reintroduce her to society.

10 pm CSI: Miami (CBS) | When the “Miami Taunter” strikes again, Horatio comes face-to-face with the matriarch of the suspected killer’s family, played by iconic sex symbol Raquel Welch.

10 pm Breakout Kings (A&E) | A gang of criminals escape via an underground tunnel into a house near the prison — with an undercover FBI agent who appears to have been turned. The Kings, sort of cooperating with the FBI, hunt them down to discover the truth. (Get scoop!)

10:30 pm Life’s Too Short (HBO) | In the midst of messy divorce negotiations, Warwick asks Ricky and Stephen for personal advice during an awkward video chat with Steve Carell; Warwick seeks election as chairman of the Society for People of Small Stature.

  • Is the Good Wife being hurt by being on Sunday night? I don’t mean the competition but the pre-emptions. Unless you’re watching CBS all evening or decide to DVR the entire CBS Sunday night lineup and then some – you miss The Good Wife because for the last X months, it never airs at 9pm ET. Its gotten so frustrating that event hough Ive seen every episode, Im getting ready to give up on the show. Its just too much work to remember. And I don’t want to have to DVR the entire CBS schedule to find The Good Wife, and I definitely cannot watch it live (which I thought they wanted as I don’t understand how they count DVR viewers cuz I purposely skip all commercials so I can watch hour shows in 40 minutes)

    • When a separate article has been written about an episode it’s generally not listed in the TV worth watching line up. Usually they just post a link to the article.
