Pilot News: The Finder's Mercedes Masöhn, Tree Hill's Robert Buckley Join 666 Park Avenue

Get More: Casting News, Pilots

Apartments are filling up fast at ABC’s 666 Park Avenue, with Mercedes Masöhn (The Finder) and Robert Buckley (One Tree Hill) the latest to board the supernatural-tinged drama pilot.

Based on a book series by Gabriella Pierce, 666 is set at an historic Manhattan apartment building that plays host to deadly, otherworldy occurences. Terry O’Quinn (Lost) has been cast as the mysterious owner of the building, while Dave Annable (Brothers & Sisters) and Rachael Taylor (Grey’s Anatomy) play a married couple that has newly signed on to manage the property.

Masöhn and Buckley have been cast as fashion photog Louise and playwright Brian, another couple who lives at the ominous address.

For Masöhn, 666 Park is in second position (see definition) to The Finder — that is, it’s a “back-up plan” in case the Fox freshman, which is moving to Fridays after tonight’s episode, isn’t renewed for another run.

  • Yay I love Robert Buckley, he was wonderful on Lipstick Jungle and One Tree Hill. I know he will be wonderful in this show too, I hope this show and devious maids get picked up for the fall.

  • Good for Robert Buckley. Perhaps now he’ll get some some decent writing on his part compared to the poor structure and dialogue he gets on One Tree Hill.

  • I may check this show out! I love Robert Buckley. He was great on Lipstick Jungle and OTH and I also really liked Flirting with Forty!

  • Good God that’s a lot of hotness crammed into one apartment building. What is this, the CW?

  • Seems less and less likely that The Finder will get renewed for a second season. Oh well :(
