blake sheltonLooks like The Voice‘s Season 1 champ Javier Colon will be giving up his crown and sash on May 8: That’s when NBC has scheduled the Season 2 finale of its buzzy reality singing competition.

The network also announced today that two-hour live competition rounds for The Voice will begin on Monday, April 2 (8/7c), and that Tuesday-night results shows will commence the following evening, April 3 (9/8c).

NBC’s new Tuesday lineup starting on April 3 will be The Biggest Loser (cutting back to one-hour episodes), The Voice, and Fashion Star.

The Voice‘s performance finale — and the final night of viewer voting — is slated for Monday, May 7.

Once The Voice ends its run, NBC will air Season 7 of America’s Got Talent — with Howard Stern joining Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne on the judges’ panel — on Mondays and Tuesdays, beginning May 14 and 15.
