Eric Close NashvilleWithout a Trace alum Eric Close is making tracks to Nashville, ABC’s drama pilot set against the backdrop of the country music scene.

The project, written by Callie Khouri and directed by R.J. Cutler, centers on a fading country singer who is forced to team up with a teen sensation (Hayden Panettiere). Close will play the husband of the former.

The cast also includes Jonathan Jackson (General Hospital) and Powers Boothe (Deadwood).

    • Me too! That was such a great show. Sigh! I’d love for this to work out for him because he isn’t on our screens nearly enough.

    • Ditto on Now and Again and Magnificent Seven. I was able to watch all the Magnificent Seven on Hulu; anyone know where to find Now and Again online? I even watched him in Chaos and well the show just didn’t click with the audience, but it was nice to see him again on tv. Looking forward to seeing him again soon.

  • I hope him the best. I miss him on WAT, and I loved him in Magnificent 7. Lets hope this network gives this show a chance to find an audience and promote it better.
