Scoop: Cuba Gooding Jr. to Headline Fox's Greg Berlanti-Produced Drama Pilot Guilty

Cuba Gooding Jr. GuiltyIn what would mark his first full-time TV gig, Oscar winner Cuba Gooding, Jr. has landed the lead role in Guilty, a Fox drama pilot from Greg Berlanti and his fellow Eli Stone producer Marc Guggenheim.

After being falsely convicted of fraud and stripped of his legal license, a brilliant, morally questionable defense attorney — William “Billy” Remz (Gooding) — uses his unorthodox methods to solve the cases he’s been prohibited from handling and to exact revenge on those who set him up.

McG has signed on to direct the pilot.

Sounds like the love child of burn notice and law and order to me.

What are you thinking? Motor mouth , wing flapping co- host and a comedian who is not funny to replace Holly and Leah. Move over “Jules”….they are taking over the whole show. The Talk has exited my DVR for good!!

Thank Goodness Cuba is finally seeing the light i.e he needs to do television. Cuba is actually a good actor who hasn’t received good material for the majority of his career. Wish him luck.
