The TVLine-Up: TV Worth Watching This Tuesday

On TV this Tuesday: Cougar Town‘s Cul-De-Sac Crew makes a triumphant return, Rachel Berry’s two dads stop by McKinley High, a handful of guests crash the New Girl‘s loft and more. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features, here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm Glee (Fox) | While Mr. Schue has the Glee club singing the greatest love songs, Rachel and Finn break their engagement news, and The Berry’s (Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell) pay a visit to McKinley High.  (Read preview and watch video clips.)

8:30 pm Cougar Town (ABC) | Season 3 premiere: Jules is miffed when Grayson (who has an ulterior motive) calls her “predictable;” Ellie frets that little Stan is turning into a “devil child,” or even worse: could grow up to be like Laurie; Travis likes his new off campus housing — until Bobby tries to convince him to take dog Travis in. (Read preview, watch highlight reel and check out Spoiler Alert!)

NCIS Preview: Michael Weatherly Says Tony’s Ex-Fiancée Has a ‘Face-Off’ With Ziva

9 pm NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS) | The team must track down a chameleon-like killer who has evaded law enforcement agents — including their very own Special Agent G. Callen — across several countries. Prison Break‘s Peter Stormare guest-stars.

9 pm The River (ABC) | When the whole crew goes blind due to tree spores, lone holdout AJ has to overcome his most paralyzing fear to find a cure before it becomes permanent; the local tribe stalks the crew and judges whether they are worthy to stay in the jungle. (Read preview!)

9 pm Ringer (The CW) | Bridget discovers Siobhan’s secret office; Olivia (Jaime Murray) blackmails Henry into introducing her to Gemma’s wealthy father (guest star Gregory Harrison, One Tree Hill).

9 pm New Girl (Fox) | Jess enlists Schmidt as her wingman, attempting an attachment-free fling with a handsome stranger (True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten); Nick’s romantic plans are foiled when he finds himself spending more time with Julia’s assistant (Greek‘s Clark Duke) than with her.

Save the Dates: February’s Big Premieres and Finales!

10 pm Parenthood (NBC) | Drew has an unexpected reaction to Sarah and Mark’s baby plans; Julia struggles to detach herself from getting too involved in Zoe’s life; Amber and Bob Little plan a weekend business trip together.

10 pm Body of Proof (ABC) | When the owner of a family-owned Italian restaurant turns up dead in the freezer, the team takes a close look at la familia; Detective Baker must face her own haunted past. Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager) guest-stars.

10 pm Southland (TNT) | John tries to save a suicidal teen in a situation that hits extremely close to home; Sammy convinces a former addict to be an informant — with devastating consequences; Tang gets a blast from the past.

10 pm Justified (FX) | Raylan races to save Dewey Crowe from a gang of vicious organ harvesters; Boyd faces off with a new adversary.
