James Wolk Enters Political Fray, Joins USA Network's D.C.-Based Drama Series

Lone Star‘s James Wolk has joined USA Network’s six-episode drama series Political Animals, from former Brothers & Sisters and Everwood boss Greg Berlanti.

Hot Shots: James Wolk Sexy, Shirtless on Happy Endings

The D.C.-based project, which is slated to premiere this summer, focuses on a fictional former first family in the throes of a crisis. At the center of the storm is the divorced former First Lady and current Secretary of State. According to our sister site Deadline.com, Wolk will play one of her sons, who also serves as her chief of staff.

Wolk is currently in the middle of an arc on ABC’s Happy Endings.

  • I´m confused, is this show a mini-series or a “normal” show ??? because i want James Wolk to be available for pilot season and not tagged on a 6 episodes gig

    • The idea here seems to be to see how the ratings fare for the miniseries and then order it to series, a la “The Starter Wife.”
