Glee Valentine's Day First Look: New Triangle, Puck 'Threesome', Brittana Action and More!

Cupid sets up his annual hearts and flowers operation at McKinley High next week, and based on the following first look video, his arrow is being directed specifically at New Directions.

“There’s love in the air,” declares Vanessa Lengies, whose N.D. newbie Sugar finds herself torn between two suitors. “[She] needs a date for her party, and there’s Rory and Artie and Sugar in the middle and both of them are fighting for her. She doesn’t know who to choose.”

  • There is absolutely nothing of interest to me in that clip. Maybe I’ll finally believe that Santana and Brittany are in a relationship after this, because I just have never seen it. The 2 characters seem at different places in the relationship — I mean that Santana seems “all in” while Britany isn’t really that interested in the emotional part.
    Also, PLEASE don’t over-use Sugar. PLEASE! That’s what has killed my former enjoyment of other characters. She’s funny in small doses and reaction shots. Please, Glee, don’t over-use her. *fingers crossed*

    • I don’t mind them using Sugar if it means I get to hear that awesome song! And YES! i thought i was the only one who isn’t obsessing over the “Brittana” couple. It’s pretty evident they aren’t Klaine which is why they don’t/shouldn’t get that much screen time. Not that I don’t miss Brittany’s quips, I do, it’s just exactly like you said. Santana is in love with Brittany for I don’t know what, forget relationship levels, Santana is on a whole different scale of awesome to Brittany. So in future I’m hoping to see someone else catch Santana’s eye.

    • Yes!!!!!!!!!!!! Exactly. I adore Naya and her talents. She plays Santana perfectly. But after 3 years of hateful comments and her knowing she is what she is having no desire to change I have no desire for this main story arc in the least. I don’t care 1 iota. Just like some other things that Glee has done since s1 there are story lines with characters that I just tune out. I really like Gloria Estefan but not tuning in for this part of this episode. I would rather see Rachel’s dads and have an explanation to why Rachel is so driven complex and isolated from others at the start of season 1. S2 I liked Santana her edginess was softened to the point of her being the funniest part of Glee. Loved her with Karofsky. So far this season she has been much more hateful to being a sage to a teacher-way to outlandish. Loved Rachel’s dads in the promo I’ve seen.

  • Oh my goodness.. That glimpse of Santana and Brittany. I can’t even like.. It makes me want to cry just seeing how in love they are. Ive never seen Santana smile so intimately like that.
