TVLine Items: Army Wives Gets Premiere Date, Cougar Town Marathon, GH Scoop and More!

Ten-hut, Army Wives fans! Lifetime has announced that the potentially super-sized sixth season of its flagship series will premiere Sunday, March 4 at 9/8c.

Ready for more of today’s TV dish? Well…

Cougar Town‘s third season may not launch until Feb. 14, but you can catch up with Big Carl & Co. a few days early when the cast hosts a mini-marathon on ABC, airing Saturday, Feb. 11. (An exact schedule is still TBD.)

• MAJOR SPOILER ALERT! Kimberly McCullough may have inadvertently revealed the details surrounding Robin Scorpio Drake’s dreaded General Hospital departure in a recent video chat with co-star Jason Thompson. If you want to be spoiled (or just wish to prepare yourselves for what’s to come), head to Daytime Confidential.

As tribute to the late Don Cornelius, BET’s Centric cable channel will run a special 24-hour marathon of classic Soul Train episodes beginning tonight at midnight EST.

• Veronica Cartwright (Eastwick, L.A. Law) will play a judge on an upcoming episode of Revenge, TV Guide Magazine reports, presumably during the impending murder trial.

• Will Arnett can do no wrong, as is demonstrated in a just-released teaser from a Hulu ad to be broadcast during Sunday’s Super Bowl telecast. The commercial is the second coming of the web streaming site’s previous campaign starring Alec Baldwin, both of which can be viewed at AdAge.com.

• ABC has picked up Bad Girls, a drama pilot (based on the UK series by the same name) from Shameless producers John Wells and Nancy Pimental. The project follows an eclectic group of women in a federal prison.

• The Voice‘s Blake Shelton and his country music star wife Miranda Lambert have been tapped to perform “America, the Beautiful” during this Sunday’s Super Bowl pregame show. Lenny Kravitz and The Fray are also slated to take the stage.

• We weren’t all that thrilled when NBC announced Channing Tatum would host this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, but after watching him make a whole lot of funny in the following promos, we’re kind of rethinking our stance. Press PLAY below, and judge for yourselves.
