Pilot Scoop: Louis C.K., Spike Feresten Team For CBS Ensemble Comedy

CBS has ordered a comedy pilot written and produced by (but not starring) actor-comedian Louis C.K. and Seinfeld writer/onetime late night host Spike Feresten.

The currently untitled project revolves around a group of young people trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times.

The duo wrote the pilot and will serve as exec producers alongside Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun, Gene Stein.

  • I think this is a great opportunity for him – I’m happy for his accomplishments. He’s a skilled comedy writer – why not expand to the network markets that are striving to attract more young people, like CBS? It’s not selling out – it’s called using your craft.
