10 pm The Mentalist (CBS) | With very little evidence, Jane and the CBI investigate the death of a mob boss’ son; Van Pelt, while taking an eyewitness in for questioning, is haunted by the memories of O’Laughlin’s shooting. Eric Winter returns as O’Laughlin.

10 pm Archer (FX) | Season 3.5 premiere: Archer is shocked to learn that his mother is dating his idol/hero/man-crush, Burt Reynolds.

10:30 pm Unsupervised (FX) | In this new animated series, eternally-optimistic best friends Gary (Justin Long) and Joel (It’s Always Sunny‘s David Hornsby) navigate the harsh landscape of teenage life without any parental guidance whatsoever.
