Live! With Kelly Lands Kristin Chenoweth, Cat Deely and Others for Female Co-Host Week

Someone wickedly gleeful this way comes to Live! With Kelly.

Kristin Chenoweth, a star of ABC’s upcoming midseason drama, GCB, will join Kelly Ripa for the daytime talkfest’s week of female guest co-hosts, launching Jan. 23 — and she’s not alone.

Grammy-winner Mary J. Blige, So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deely and Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba are also taking part in Live‘s five-day blast of girl power.

Yes, we know — that’s only four names. As previously reported, polarizing reality-TV figure Kim Kardashian is set to kick off Live‘s week of female co-hosts.

  • This will be a lot better than this past week’s guest cohosts. Her flirting with some of those sports guys was so awkward to watch. Act professional please. Constant grabbing of a guy’s bicep (no matter how big) is not appropriate and not comfortable for the viewer to have to see.

  • Let’s get on already with the search for a permanent co-host. What they are currently doing is getting old already. I will not be watching the week these people are co-hosting. Kim K. really? Why is ABC so in love with this family?

  • I love Kelly but I’d like them to settle on a permenant host sooner rather than later.

Still wish Jeff Probst could take the spot. He was great with Kelly. Plus getting his own show seems pretty boring.

  • Dana Carvey has been the BEST cohost so far!!! He brings excitement, humour and unpredictability to the show – everything that the show needs!! Kelly is great, but YES she absolutely needs the RIGHT co-host, and that should be Dana Carvey!!!

  • Gelman………okay, enough already, settle on a permanent co-host or a rotating roster of the best of the guest hosts. The show hit the bottom of the barrel with some of the sports figures and crashed through the hole in the basement with Kim K. Kristin was fine today…Dana Carvey is better…Josh Groban better still and Neil Patrick Harris is the best. Make up your minds already!!
