    • It only has 10 episodes because one season is based on one book and it would be stupid to make it longer.

      • I know! I am currently reading book 3. I think the material is so rich that it could be made into a 12-14 episode season for every book.

  • HBO must be so pissed that it’s wasting its time and effort on Sarah Palin, who isn’t even trying to run for public office. They had to be banking on her running for President or Vice President, given the timing of the movie. Instead, the movie will seem incredibly dated and irrelevant.

    Fail on them.

  • I don’t have HBO so I am definitely more excited about March 6, which is when the first season drops on DVD.

  • Matt, have you heard anything about Treme’s return date? I know it was picked up for season 3 and typically airs starting in April. Has it been delayed?

  • Ahh! I’m so excited. Game of Thrones is a great show, one of my favorites currently. Definitely the best HBO has to offer currently. It probably only has ten episodes because they are so expensive to make, GOT is a huge budget suck.

  • “It only has 10 episodes because one season is based on one book and it would be stupid to make it longer.” does this mean you can only divide books into 10 episodes??? why not 12??
