On TV this Wednesday: The beginning of Tree Hill‘s ending, Wonder Woman (and a gorilla) pop into Harry’s Law firm, a shocking Revenge reveal and more. Here are 12 programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm One Tree Hill (The CW) | Final season premiere: As Brooke and Julian begin to adjust to life with their new children, Haley and Nathan find themselves dealing with similar issues; faces from the past threaten to interrupt everyone’s future plans. (Watch the wild first two minutes here!)

8 pm Whitney (NBC) | New time slot alert! Whitney gets upset when Alex refuses to share his cell phone password, so they decide they need some solo time; when she comes home early, she finds Alex in a compromising position.

8 pm The Middle (ABC) | When Axl accidentally eats Brick’s Indiana dough school map project, he must create a new one; Sue discovers that one of the boys on the wrestling team has a crush on her.

8:30 pm Are You There, Chelsea? (NBC) | Series premiere: Based on Chelsea Handler’s autobiographies, the first episode finds Chelsea (That ’70s Show‘s Laura Prepon) making changes in her life following a DUI. Ali Wong (Breaking In), Lauren Lapkus (The Middle) and Jake McDorman (Greek) play Chelsea’s BFF, new roommate and sports bar boss, respectively, while Handler plays her own big sister.

8:30 pm Suburgatory (ABC) | When Tessa is asked to show a new guy (Cougar Town‘s Dan Byrd) around school, she becomes convinced that he’s gay, when in fact he’s an undercover narcotics officer.

9 pm People’s Choice Awards (CBS) | The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco is your host for the evening.

9 pm Harry’s Law (NBC) | Adam and Cassie represent a troubled woman (Smallville‘s Erica Durance) who exacts vigilante justice against men who abuse women by dressing up as Wonder Woman. (Watch video here.) Emily Rose (Haven) also guest-stars.

9 pm Modern Family (ABC) | Claire and Jay take over Luke and Manny’s school egg-drop project; Mitch and Cam try their very best to be charming and likeable as they meet with prospective birth mothers.

9:30 pm Happy Endings (ABC) | Dave’s father (Michael McKean, This Is Spinal Tap) comes to town to introduce his new girlfriend — who also happens to be Penny’s mother (returning guest star Megan Mullally)!

10 pm Face Off (Syfy) | Season 2 premiere: Fourteen aspiring makeup artists re-imagine characters from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

10 pm Law & Order: SVU (NBC) | An actress in an interactive theater production is raped on stage, while the audience believes it to be part of the show. The SVU detectives hit a dead end in their investigation when they learn the show’s director (Fisher Stevens, Lost) gave the audience — including the assailant — masks to wear during the performance.

10 pm Revenge (ABC) | Emily sets her sights on a new target when a famed author (Desperate Housewives‘ Roger Bart) who has deep ties with both the Graysons and the Clarkes returns to town; Jack finally lets his guard down with Amanda; a stunning revelation becomes a game-changer for Emily and the Graysons.

    I will be watching One Tree Hill tonigt… I like that they are given a season to say say goodbye but I hate the fact that it will be like a season long cry fest for me I am sure!

    ONE TREE HILL can’t wait! Will have to DVR Subergatory for the rest of the season. OTH, Revenge, Modern Family and Happy Endings! Wednesday is a damn good TV night!

    Are You There Chelsea? and Whitney and Harry’s Law are going to get hammered in the ratings, even though they have the advantage of CBS airing The People’s Choice Awards this week, which I believe has become fairly low-rated and Fox airing that show Mobbed (is anyone watching that? Anyone at all?). When AYTC, Harry’s Law and Whit have to go up against CBS and ABC both showing original regular programming, it’s going to be ugly for NBC. As usual.

    I’m confused. Is tonight’s “One Tree Hill” a 2-hour episode, or is the CW just replaying the same episode at 9?

      The CW is just having a encore of the season premiere at 9. I wish it was a two hour episode though like they did back in 2008 when season 5 began in January.

    I’m looking forward to ABC’s killer Wednesday night lineup. The combination of Modern Family, Happy Endings, and Revenge form two hours of pure entertainment.

    Chelsea premiere is being preempted for college ball in my area on DTV (Eastern KY). They are reairing it at 2:33 AM, and E! is also airing it @ 1 AM if anyone is interested.

    Wasn’t going to check this out, but I watch so little anymore that I am trying to find some TV I can at least watch, lol.
