Bid Farewell to One Tree Hill in Style — With an Advance Premiere Screening and Cast Q&A!

One Tree Hill fans already mourning the fast-approaching conclusion of their beloved CW sudser (returning Jan. 11 at 8/7c), we’ve got just the thing to turn that frown upside down: free tickets to an advance screening of the ninth and final season premiere!

The fine folks over at The CW are hosting “An Evening With One Tree Hill” at The ArcLight Theater in Hollywood on Thursday, Jan. 5 at 7 pm, an event that begins with an advance screening of the season-opener and ends with a post-show Q&A (moderated by yours truly) featuring cast members Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Galeotti, Austin Nichols, Shantel VanSanten, Stephen Colletti, Tyler Hilton, Paul Johansson and Tree Hill showrunner Mark Schwahn.

The best part? The CW has given TVLine five pairs of tickets to award to the most devoted River Court lovers around.

To enter to win, you must be a Southern California resident. If that’s you, just head over to our official Facebook page and tell us why we should pick you to attend. Those fans who make the most compelling arguments, win!

The contest closes Thursday, Dec. 29 at 5 pm EST and winners will be announced Friday, Dec. 30.

Good luck!

    • Well, that’s original.
I guess somebody watches it or it wouldn’t have been on for 9 years.

    • I still do, although it hasn’t been good in years. It started off incredible, and is now a saccharine silly joke. Glad Paul and Tyler return! Glad it’s ending, it’s been long overdue.

Where is my cutie Robert Buckley? I guess James Lafferty is too good for OTH now as he is barely going to be in the last season. OTH made you dude!

  • Really???
After 9 years on air you call it fast approaching?…

Comment by helen – December 20, 2011 12:17 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Fast-approaching just means it is coming up quickly. Has nothing to do with how long the show has been on the air.

      • I was hoping they would be. so far I only see tix being offered from TV Line and Eonline, I cant imagine they’d do a screening for 20 people??

  • Rob Buckley tweeted last night that he’ll be there. As for James, he doesn’t care. He severed ties with the show when he wrapped. He’s too into his underaged girlfriend to care about the show that made his career.

    • @Katie you’re and Idiot.. FYI James is “dating” Eve Hewson(Bono’s daughter) who happens to be 21

Comment by mesia – December 21, 2011 08:32 AM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • STFU, Katie. James did 8 full seasons, and signed on for s9 even though he was ready to move on. He did it for the fans. That tells you what kind of actor/person he is. Yes, he is only in half of s9, but he’s given more years than his original contract. Quite griping.

  • I will really miss OTH when it is gone. It may have started as a teen show, but it turned into so much more. Sure – it wasn’t realistic and could be a bit corny, but don’t we all need a little corn in our life from time to time. Plus the music was fantastic. I’m looking forward to the last eps, but once it is done :-(

  • WTF that isnt fair only southern California residents can enter the contest.. what about the fans in the other 49 states???

Comment by katie – December 21, 2011 11:42 AM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Because the screening is ONLY in Los Angeles and they arent going to pay for a plane flight for people that win outside of CA. And its doubtful most people who win out of state would pay for a flight either.

  • I have watch these characters deal with adversity and grow. Nathan and Haley have been a reminder of what marriage should be. Brooke and Julian have been a great couple. Brooke finally got her children which I am so happy for. She went from a selfish person to a person that you could call on when needed. I wanted her character to know its not by your time but Gods time. Also, Millie and Mouth is time for them to be married and time for Skills to have someone . Bring my others ppl back especially Dan . He reminds me of JR

  • Why can’t you extend the contest to any California resident? I would DEFINATELY make the 6 hour trip to go.

  • I caught up on One Tree Hill in a 3 week frenzy when I was home from work sick for a month. I never cried laughed or enjoyed myself more. I remember texting my friend every single episode to ask her how things were gonna end, was so and so gonna be ok, would Dan Scott finally get his come uppance

  • I feel like a chapter in my life is ending with the final season of One Tree Hill. I have cried and laughed through the 8 seasons, and in my opinion they just keep getting better! I would love to attend the premiere, but I am not a resident of California. However, I would pay for a ticket and a flight to LA. I love One Tree Hill!!
