New Girl Video: Watch Schmidt's Online Dating Video (and Head For the Hills, Ladies)

Get More: First Look, Video

What happens when a smarmy bachelor who answers to the nickname “douche bag” makes an online dating video? Well, when the cad in question is Schmidt (Max Greenfield) from New Girl, you better believe the resulting vid is going to scream “nimrod power tool overload.”

The circa ’2008 clip — which was “leaked” to YouTube early Monday — is embedded below for your viewing pleasure. I think you’ll agree it’s so obnoxious it’s damn-near perfect.

  • OH MY GOD. That was hysterical. And yet… I could definitely see that coming from Schmidt. Can they please incorporate this into an episode? Please and thank you!

  • I just want to know who Schmidt got to film it. I can’t see Nick, Winston or Coach helping him out with that.

  • Brilliant. I couldn’t believe Max Greenfield as Deputy Leo from Veronica Mars could be this funny in a different show. The guy deserves his own sitcom. Totally different character, and he can play Schmidt for so much douchey-ness.
