Last Man Standing Exclusive First Look: Watch Nick Jonas Give Tim Allen the 'Silent' Treatment!

Last Man Standing is getting its groove on tonight (8/7c, ABC) with special guest Nick Jonas. And, as is made abundantly clear in TVLine’s exclusive clip, you can take the boy out of the band, but you can’t take the band out of the boy.

As we first reported, the pop star will play Ryan, the deadbeat dad of Mike’s (Tim Allen) grandson. The MIA pops comes around to spend Christmas with the Baxters, much to the patriarch’s chagrin. But maybe it’s not all bad. Looks like Jonas’ character has turned over a new leaf — an overly enthusiastic and musical one.

Watch Jonas, Allen and the rest of the Last Man gang sing a little holiday ditty in the clip below, and then hit the comments with your JoBro love reactions!

Never thought I’d say this, but he looks adorable

  2. zaza says:

Don’t buy him as a daddy, though. He still looks about 13!

  3. Maricela says:

Is it bad that I recognize the baby as Harrison from Dexter?

  4. jhsemas says:

    looks adorable? he IS adorable.

  5. kerri says:

Loved this clip. Looks very funny. The character and the real life Nick are supposed to be about the same age, so it is believable. And he is adorable.

  6. Kelly says:

Who knew Nick Jonas could be so funny? Looks good!

  7. Julie says:

Hilarious clip. Nick Jonas is perfect for the role of a 19/20 year old dad since he’s the same age in real life. Looking forward to seeing the full episode tonight.

  8. dan says:

  9. AJSDH says:

  10. Kim says:

i lov this. he definitely needs to be on these type of shows more often!

  11. Strepsi says:

It’s a brilliant tie in to the fact that he will be on BROADWAY starting January 23rd, taking over from Dan Radcliffe in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALL TRYING.

I saw it with Radcliffe, it’s a great great musical if you can see it, go.

  12. Nicole says:

Hilarious!! I hear angels sing in his voice…

  13. RAM21 says:

Saw it and I know it sounds strange, cause he is old enough. But he looked too young for the part. He looked like someone in 10th grade, not someone out supporting himself. And a kid. Sang pretty though.

  14. Ashley says:

Nick Jonas was my favorite of the Jonas brothers when they were the real thing:) not its daughtry for me! But I gotta say he looked

  15. Taylor says:

I loved this episode! It was so funny! And initially I was thinking… “Maybe Joe Jonas would be a better fit.” But Nick did great! I hope he is a recurring role! I will definitely be watching more “Last Man Standing”.
