Exclusive: Eric Roberts to Join Bones' T.J. Thyne on Gypsy-Centric Episode of The Finder

Looks like T.J. Thyne will have some interesting company — and an unusual mission — when he pops up on an episode of Fox’s Bones spinoff The Finder early next year.

Eric Roberts has been cast in Episode 9 as Uncle Shadrack, the revered head of a gypsy family to which Willa (series regular Maddie Hasson) happens to belong — and will attempt to prove her worth.

Meanwhile, Thyne’s Dr. Jack Hodgins will come to Geoff Stults’ Walter for help in finding “an object that no one in the government believes to exist,” according to a show source.

The Finder will air Thursdays at 9/8c beginning in January.

    “Gypsy”? Really? Lazy writing.

  2. Anna says:

Didn’t Eric star in the movie King Of The Gypsys?

  3. LuLu says:

The guy above looks like the male version of Julia Robert??

    • angie says:

Thats because he’s her older brother.

      • pia says:

and a much much much better actor than Julia.

why doesn’t any network or cable give Eric his own show?

I totally agree. I never understood why people made such a big deal over Julia. Her looks and her laugh remind me of a horse (harsh, I know, sorry, but I’m just sayin’). He is a better actor and so handsome. Don’t get me started on those eyes!
