Grimm Exclusive: Amy Acker to Play [Spoiler]!

Grimm? Ha — this news is positively joyful!

Sources confirm exclusively to TVLine that NBC’s freshman thriller has cast Angel and Dollhouse alum Amy Acker as the fearsome Black Widow.

Just how fearsome is she?

Well, most of the time, not at all — she’s Lena, your run-of-the-mill happy housewife. But, because she suffers from rapid-aging syndrome — wait, that’s not just a soap opera thing? — every five years, she has to leech the life out of three guys in three short days in order to maintain her appearance.

What? Like your beauty regimen is so much more respectable.

Anyhow, her episode will air in early 2012, so save some of that New Year’s Eve bubbly, huh? In the meantime, feel free to weigh in on her casting below. You know you want to!

  • She ate my hamster, you know, so I’m not surprised by her eating men.

    Looking forward to it!

  • In Angel she became a god so really it is surprising that she would suck the life out of men????? And in Dollhouse she had a mental break down as well, really is this surprising that she has a role sucking the life from her victims????

  • She’s so great as a villain. Illyria was the best part of the 5th season of Angel.

  • Psh, Angelina Jolie has been using that beauty regime since the 90s.
Notice how every guy she’s been linked to has aged dramatically, and she has barely aged.

    • She’s actually started to age dramatically, which is only exaserbated by how skinny she is now. Brad Pitt looks older because he rocks facial hair now. She uses gallons of makeup and flowy gowns the few times she’s photographed now to try to hide it. I actually think she looks older then she is.

    • LOL! So true so true! Brad Pitt looks like he aged about 30 years since they got together. This comment is full of win.

  • So not only does this stupid show have to air against “Fringe,” but it’s going to steal storylines from it, too? Boo.

Will still watch for Amy, but ughh.
