Casting Updates: Big Bang's Bully, Revenge for Housewives Vet, Secret Circle Scoop and More!

The Big Bang Theory gang is about to encounter a bully.

Lance Barber (The Comeback‘s sublimely malevolent Paulie G.) has nabbed a guest spot on an upcoming episode of the CBS comedy, reports. Barber (pictured, right) will play a former bully who taunted and teased Leonard (Johnny Galecki) back in high school.

Ready for the rest of today’s casting roundup? Well…

• Desperate Housewives alum Roger Bart (pictured, left) will guest-star on the freshman season of ABC’s Revenge, playing a “rich, pretentious journalist” who is writing a tell-all book on the Hamptons elite, reports.

The Secret Circle is adding two new men to their coven. Per, Michael Graziadei — who is best known as Daniel Romalotti on The Young and the Restless — will play a charming bad boy whose behavior alarms Phoebe Tonkin’s Faye, while Sammi Rotibi (Lord of War) has landed a mysterious role as the leader of a dangerous group. Both parts have the potential to recur.

• Emily Rose is headed to Harry’s Law for a little monkeying around. As reported by Give Me My Remote, the Haven star will appear in an episode of the NBC legal drama playing a woman attempting to adopt an escaped gorilla. Fun fact: Erica Durance shows up in the same installment!

• Meryl Streep’s daughter Grace Gummer will appear in multiple episodes of NBC’s midseason musical Smash, Variety reports, portraying the offspring of Angelica Huston and Michael Cristofer’s respective characters.

Sweet new casting scoop for The Secret Circle. I can’t wait to see what they bring to the show. I’m wondering if Michael Graziadei (his character’s name will be Callum) will play Melissa’s new love interest that’s supposed to be coming?

Sammi Rotibi (In the show his character’s name will be Eben) sounds like he may be working for the counsel of hunters, or in this case be the leader of said counsel?

Hmmm, thanks for the news! I can’t wait for The Secret Circle to return on January 5th.

WAIT! Callum (Micheal’s character) has blonde hair, blue eyes…Could this be Cassie’s half sibling!? And he appears in Ep. 12, the flashback episode. Actually they both appear in that episode. This shall be interesting!

    Thanks again!

    • Nice to see some new male protagonist/antagonist(s) joining the fray on The Secret Circle. Jake’s scenery chewing was wearing out its welcome rapidly, hopefully these newcomers will add some pizazz to things without hamming up a storm.

    Spoiler alert much!
    Thanks for that.

@someone Sorry about that! ): I hope I didn’t ruin a lot for you. What I said really wasn’t much so long as you’ve watched all episodes of TSC thus far. Perhaps the biggest thing I said was about Melissa, and that’s not too much.

      Again, I’m sorry about that!

  3. Renee says:

Huh. I just watched one of the first episodes of Justified and Lance Barber was in it.

  4. April says:

I just hope that whoever Grazedei is playing will be around for awhile. I absolutely love him!

  5. verybookish says:

Love the Secret Circle. Hope we get to see more about the parents’ generation soon, especially more from bad guy Charles Meade.

  6. Lu says:

    Love Emily Rose!

  7. BHM1304 says:

I have no idea what “Harry’s Law” is (it obviously films in Canada), network legal procedural I’ll assume, but Emily Rose and Erica Durance in the same episode of a show seems like a good reason to check it out. Emily Rose is the reason why “Haven” found its legs so quickly and made it to a third season. One of the most underrated young actresses with their own shows on cable.

  8. Theo says:

Erica Durance is amazing. And Emily Rose is extremely talented. Especially seeing how relatively new she was to acting when she got the Haven gig. Now she is a acting vet.
