ABC Invites You to A Very Gaga Thanksgiving

Want some Lady Gaga with your turkey this Thanksgiving? You’re in luck.

ABC will air A Very Gaga Thanksgiving on Nov. 24 at 9:30/8:30c, the network announced on Thursday.

The 90-minute special, directed by the music superstar, will feature eight musical performances as well as a sit-down interview conducted by Katie Couric at the singer’s alma mater, the Sacred Heart Catholic School in Manhattan.

Among the songs Gaga will perform for a small circle of friends and family (…and presumably a few million viewers…) are “Marry the Night,” “You and I,” “The Edge of Glory,” the holiday tune “White Christmas,” and a duet of “The Lady is a Tramp” with Tony Bennett.

And because no Thanksgiving is complete without food, chef Art Smith and Gaga will make deep-fried turkey and waffles.

Do you plan to spend the holidays with Lady Gaga? And how badly do you want waffles now?

Well that’s one channel I will be avoiding…

  3. leigh says:

Oh no. What a terrible idea. I’m not a fan one way or another of Lady Gaga but this sounds like a very uninteresting idea. Plus Katie Couric? Ugh. Gaga doing a themed Halloween special? Maybe. But this? no way

  4. B says:

I’d watch it if I got ABC

Gaga did a mixed interview/performance with Paul O’Grady and it was incredible. I’ll be watching.

Thank God there will be a football game on! This would cause indigestion.

Thank God there are no men in the family. Gaga Thanksgiving it is. Who cares about football? They should all be home with their families instead of risking paralysis.
