Dancing With the Stars Results: Did the Right Couple Go Home Tonight?

Rule No. 1 of Dancing With the Stars: Verbally sparring with the judges has its benefits — at least when it comes to creating morning-after water-cooler buzz. But did controversy yield dividends for Hope Solo, whose cantankerous pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy blasted Len Goodman & Co. for giving some dancers an ‘A for effort’ while judging others on strict ballroom guidelines?

Here’s how the Broadway Week results played out:

“I came on this show because I wanted to show America a different kind of man,” said Chaz, who made history as DWTS‘ first-ever transgender contestant. “I know if there was somebody like me on TV when I was growing up, my whole life would’ve been different. And so I dedicate everything I did to all the people out there like me — especially the kids and teens who are struggling. You can have a wonderful, great life and be successful and happy.”

Hope, meanwhile, was shown summing up her feelings about the judges’ tough love in a video clip filmed right after her Tuesday night performance: “I don’t get this show.” Hrmmm…wonder who the producers want to go home next week?

What do you think? Did the right couple go home? If not, who should it have been? And was Brooke right that Maks-Vs.-Len was “just as awkward the second time around”?
