The TVLine-Up: TV Worth Watching This Friday

On your TV this Friday: Alex Udinov aims to ruin a reunion, Olivia and Walter’s excellent adventure and… hairy bikers? As a supplement to TVLine’s original features and reporting, here are 12 programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm MLB National League Championship Series (TBS) | The Brewers and Cardinals enter Game 5, with the series tied up at 2-2.

8 pm A Gifted Man (CBS) | Michael treats a patient who’s been hearing voices — probably muttering under his breath the whole time, “Dude, just voices? You’ve got it easy, believe me.”

8 pm Nikita (The CW) | When Nikita learns that her former Division partner (played by Bones alum Katheryn Winnick) is not dead, as presumed years ago, but in fact just escaped a Turkish prison, Amanda sends Alex to keep the ladies from reuniting.

Supernatural Photos: Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters Stop By for a Bite

9 pm Fringe (Fox) | When Olivia starts to be spooked by a strange entity, she and Walter — leaving the lab for the first time in years — make tracks for Massive Dynamic to dig up some old Cortexiphan files. Executive producers JH Wyman (@JWFringe) and Jeff Pinkner (@JPFringe) will be tweeting live during the West Coast broadcast.

9 pm Supernatural (The CW) | When the Egyptian god Osiris puts Dean on trial for past sins, Sam serves as his lawyer and Jo (Alona Tal) shows up as a witness for the prosecution.

9 pm CSI: NY (CBS) | Breaking Bad‘s Dean Norris guest stars as an Internal Affairs snoop when Danny and his rookie reports are involved in a shooting after a night out at a (hic!) bar.

Fringe‘s Seth Gabel Discusses the Lincolns’ Feelings for Both Olivias

10 pm Blue Bloods (CBS) | While Erin reopens an old rape case in which her father was the arresting office, Danny and Jackie investigate the murder of three teenagers in a park.

10 pm Sanctuary (Syfy) | Will, Kate and Bigfoot work to prevent an Abnormal war.

10 pm The Soup (E!) | What happens when Joel McHale’s crew of cut-ups merge with The Walking Dead and some of its stars? You get the bloody-good five-minute short, “Soup of The Walking Dead.”

10 pm 20/20 (ABC) | In “A Hidden America: Children of the Plains,” Diane Sawyer profiles the poverty-stricken, overachieving youths of the Lakota Indian Tribe at the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.

10 pm Strike Back (Cinemax) | Scott and Stonebridge make tracks for Chechnya to hunt down a stash of chemical weapons.

10 pm Hairy Bikers (History) | Series premiere: The name says it all. What? It doesn’t? It’s a food show?! Oy.

  3. Andy says:

Alex Udinov – my God, if the is pretending to be russian, then at least make her last name correct. In Russia last names that end in “ov” belong to male folks. ALWAYS! For females it is Aleksandra Udinova.

    • Marsha says:

Did you catch how awful her Russian accent is? Funny, especially since Alex is supposed to be Russian and not simply faking it. One of Maggie Q’s appeal is that she does accents and other languages extremely weel so she is really credible as a spy. oh, well, we can’t get everything we want. But I am still trying to get over how well Nikita whooped Alex’s butt a few episodes ago. Thinking she could actually beat Nikita. Hhahahahahaha
