Exclusive American Horror Story Video: Ben's Ex Is Back -- and She's a Real Nightmare!

A new form of terror is about to invade American Horror Story‘s spooky abode.

In next Wednesday’s episode of the FX thriller, Ben’s pregnant mistress Hayden (24‘s Kate Mara) pays an unexpected visit to the Harmon’s new home — and TVLine has an exclusive first look at the character’s frantic and unhinged arrival.

“She’s completely unbalanced,” says co-creator Brad Falchuk. “She can say all she wants about being over him, but she’s unbalanced. And he’s in real trouble.”

Check out the clip below and then hit the comments with an answer to this question: What’s scarier — that house or crazy-ass Hayden?

I like the LA restaurant shoutout. I wonder if the house is going to kill her. because that would be awesome .

  2. Brian says:

Hope he sends her to the basement…

  3. Tony says:

Women are scarier than a hell house.

    • JoJo says:

      Hows your gay life going??

    • ursula says:

Misogynists should be banned from the internet.

      • RyanD says:

From a horror perspective, he has a point.
Fatal Attraction was scarier than The Amityville Horror.
There’s something more unnerving about an unhinged woman with a huge case of obsession and erratic behavior.

I’ve never seen something mix the two themes before though, this next episode should be interesting!

        • Plum says:

Easily the best villain on TV right now is female antagonist on Luther. I’m loving AHS, the whole cast is terrific. They lose a few tiny points for mimimicking True Blood’s opening credits, but otherwise ASH is a freaky fun show.

      • maria says:

Agreed. It’s not like most serial killers and psycos aren’t men.

      • tarc says:

@ursula – So should people that make massive assumptions.

    • Mary Maureen Carlson says:

Actually , if he hadn’t been such a stupid horny guy, he wouldn’t be having this problem. At least he should have had the good sense to hire a hooker rather having it off with a STUDENT!

  4. dee123 says:

Yeah i hope the house shuts her up too.

  5. Carda says:

    Why is she still preggers?
She entered the clinic and only found out that Ben left when she came out again by which time the abortion was already done, at least logically o_O

    • Plum says:

From the way she was talking in that clinic I got the feeling she wasn’t gonna go through with it, not when it’s such a huge piece of leverage over him. Or she probably isn’t even pregnant, just nuts.

      • Captain says:

Yeah, I’m betting on a fake pregnancy too but wasn’t that done on the first season of Ryan Murphy’s last show? For one of the most original concept men in America, he sure does like re-using unoriginal ideas.

      • Mary Maureen Carlson says:

I’m guessing the house will eat her anyhow, one way or the other.

  6. metzjedi says:

That’s where the fun begins. Remember, he left as soon as he saw all the messages. We never saw what happened to HER! You could just tell she wasn’t going to go through with it when she flipped out at her apartment. Who gets that excited about pizza?!?!

  7. Lee says:

I agree with Metzjedi and Plum that it was pretty clear she wasn’t going to go through with it. My guess is she had been hoping Ben would change HIS mind up to the last minute at the clinic, talk her out of it and make some promises. When that didn’t happen, I think she immediately told the staff she didn’t want to go through with it and probably popped back into the waiting room — planning a big emotional scene — minutes after Ben left.

It’s an interesting thought that she isn’t pregnant, but I think the parallel story arcs of Haydon with what should be a normal baby and Vivienne with Rubber Man Monster baby would be the way to go.

  8. djgal says:

What is the song at the end?

  9. Ray says:

I luv this show guys im scarier than i look when I what it
