Exclusive: Royal Pains Gives Boris and Jill Relatives -- and Relative Problems

Two new faces are coming to the Hamptons.

Judith Godreche and Timothee Chalamet have landed recurring roles on USA Network’s Royal Pains, TVLine has learned exclusively.

The French-born Godreche will play Boris’ cousin Claudette Von Jurgens, who comes to make peace after the attempt on his life. When her unannounced visit turns out to be unsuccessful, she’ll turn to Evan to serve as a messenger.

The fresh-faced Chalamet, meanwhile, comes on board as Jill’s awkward, clumsy nephew Luke.

Both characters will make their debut in the back half of Royal Pains‘ third season, premiering this winter, and will recur in Season 4.

  1. Carol Stepp says:

Does this mean we won’t be losing Jill? And it is Boris’ female cousin who tried to kill Boris? I thought it was Dieter.

  2. Ninni says:

Okay!! I thought Evan behaved very badly! No family loyalty!! Kissing up to the general–throwing his brother under the bus!! No ability to acknowledge his brother’s enormous competency despite all evidence!! No serious apology when he should have! Right now if I never see Evan again it will be soon enough!

  3. Renee Colin says:

I totally agree with you. I would have liked to see Hank knock the mess out of Evan. Who does that to their brother and the brother sits back nice and calm and accepts it. If I was Hank, Evan and I would still not be talking to each other apology or not. It would take a lot of sucking up before I would be able to forgive that nonsense!!!!

  4. John says:

I never liked Evan from the beginning and he is the main reason I don’t make the show a “must see” when a new episode is aired. He always puts a uncomfortable spin on what is going on and generally has an air of superiority about himself.

  5. Sahar says:

I’ll have to disagree completely with the above commentaries. I actually adore Evan to bits and tho’ he may have acted slightly out of character, I still forgive him. He was pissed. People say and do a lot of things that they later regret when they’re angry. So I don’t really blame him (I mostly blame Paige). And he brings great energy and humour into the show.

Anywho, I’m ancitipating the wait! I hoping for more drama in the new episodes! :D
