  2. Samantha says:

Poor Cat Deeley :( I love Jeff Probst, but I was hoping she could FINALLY get that Emmy she so deserves!

  3. matt says:

How did Michael J. Fox not win for his role on “The Good Wife”!

  4. Lauren says:

Hmmm… Who is Nucky Johnson? Is that supposed to be Nucky Thompson?

  7. Amy says:

yay for Community.. at least they got appreciated for something.. most underrated show on tv

  8. Polly says:

    FUTURAMA FTW!!!!!

  9. Philip says:

Can’t Believe JT won for SNL again!!! Nothing against the guy but he’s basically playing the same characters again and again.Barry Gibb Talk Show, OmeletteVille, Dick in A Box Saga!!!! Any other host would have been cool. But JT basically plays the same characters all the time on SNL.!!!! Hey Seth, Write some new Skits for him PLEASE!!!!!!

It’s kind of odd to see people actually appearing in comedy series like 30 Rock or Modern Family competing with people who were guest hosts on SNL. I know that’s still a comedy show, but they are in different leagues. Why not put the SNL Hosts in the same category with Colbert and Stewart? Just a thought.

    • Z says:

Don’t like that idea…Colbert and Stewart do 4 shows a week 40-something weeks a year…SNL hosts do one 90 minute show. And I don’t think there is a category for Colbert and Stewart anyway. There are categories for the shows and writing staffs and other technical areas but not for the actual host.

    • j says:

This is what I’ve been saying for eons! JT has been doing the exact same script every time he hosts. It’s not funny anymore!

  10. Paul says:

I’m so happy for L. Divine, an original Dreamgirl! Now if someone would give the amazing Jennifer Holliday a big comeback role I would be in heaven!

  11. kevin says:

I’m shocked that Paul McCrane took home the Emmy for guest actor in a drama series for Harry’s Law. Don’t know if he’s coming back this season but he’s was great playing bad on ER and 24 playing Dr. Romano and Jack Bauer’s evil brother Graem.

  12. Z says:

I know I’m in the minority but I think Boardwalk Empire is really overrated.

  13. shaun says:

Game of Thrones got hosed!!Definitely best casting and visuals(The Wall,Kings Landing,Winterfell)CMON!!

  14. Keith says:

I love Loretta Devine, but I dont think you should be eligible for a Guest Actor for a role that you were previously a supporting role for. (I mean, the award should be for a 1 time character portrayal)

    But she is awesome!

    • j says:

Adele has never been a supporting character, and Loretta Devine was never nominated in the supporting categories. I think her short, infrequent stints on Grey’s fit exactly the mold of Guest Actress.

    • maggie says:

I think that “guest” can mean that you play the part for up to 6 episodes per season. At least 6 was the rule in the past. I don’t know if they have changed it.

      • Buffy Freak says:

That must not be the rule anymore because Cloris Leachman was in way more than 6 eps of raising Hope and she was nominated for guest actress.

  15. maggie says:

Downton Abbey won a couple, but it should be doing better. It was perfection.
The Kennedys didn’t deserve to win anything, or even be nominated, as it was crap.

  16. Casey says:

I’m happy that Paul McCrane won. I would prefer Jeremy Davies. Dickie Bennett was one of my favorite parts of Justified this year. (And why couldn’t he get an Emmy previous years for his amazing work as Daniel Faraday on LOST?) But I did like Paul McCrane’s character on Harry’s Law (towards the end when he went crazy, not in the beginning). I think he was my second choice. (:
