Glee in Season 3: What Should Be Puck's Next Move? Take Our Poll!

Get More: Glee, Polls

He’s done time in Juvie, he’s made a baby with Quinn, and he’s romanced Santana, Rachel, Mercedes, and Lauren — all in the course of two seasons. But there’s a twist in store for Noah Puckerman (Mark Salling) in Season 3 of Glee that will change his life inside the halls of William McKinley High School: My colleague Michael Ausiello reports [MAJOR SPOILER ALERT] that Puck’s steady girlfriend Lauren Zizes (Ashley Fink) will unceremoniously dump him in the Season 3 opener. And that’s got me wondering: With Puck back on the prowl, who should get the benefit of his romantic attentions? Let’s review the possibilities:

Quinn | They’ve got history and chemistry for days, but this time around, they don’t have Puck’s bestie Finn turning their affair into a love triangle.

Rachel | Like Quinn, she’s got history and chemistry with Puck, but they also have Rachel’s renewed romance with Puck’s bestie Finn to complicate matters. And nobody wants to see that psychodrama revisited quite so quickly, do they?

Mercedes | We know her brief dalliance with Sam (Chord Overstreet) is doomed, since Trouty Mouth won’t be recurring in Season 3. And while word on the street is that Cougar Town‘s LaMarcus Tinker is joining the cast as her love interest, who says Mercedes isn’t woman enough to juggle two men for a spell?

Santana | Back in June, Ryan Murphy told TVLine that “Santana is now officially a lesbian.” But would Puck let a little complication like that stop him from pursuing his former cheerleader hookup?

Brittany | Hmmm. Puck, Artie, and Santana all fighting for the same sweet but dim-witted gal? Not out of the question, is it?

Sugar | American Dreams‘ Vanessa Lengies has been cast as this tone-deaf chick with money, and certainly the potential cute-couple monikers are intriguing: Puckar? Pugar? SuPu? Suck? (Okay, maybe not that last one.)

The Other New Girl (played by The Glee Project‘s Lindsay Pearce) | She’s already proven to be an effective on-camera kisser, so why not bring Lindsay on board as someone to help mop up the carnage of Puck’s shattered heart?

Terri Schuester | Like a horror-movie villain, you can never be too certain Terri won’t claw her way back to terrorize New Directions one more time. Not that I’m advocating this option, mind you.

Karofsky | What am I doing turning this blog item into a piece of slash fanfiction? I’m the worst!

Quick! Take our poll now and tell us who should be the new object of Puck’s affection, then hit the comments to justify your pick! And because we’ll be doing a series of “Glee in Season 3″ polls over the next week, do follow me on Twitter @MichaelSlezakTV!

    • Yes, I love Quick! They are my OTP and yes i have to agree Puck and Rachel are some pretty good looking jews and are intersetingly cute and funny together I think he cares more about Quinn. He did join Glee for Quinn he has sang 2 solo’s to Quinn(Beth&Only The Good Die Young), Yes Some people might say he say ‘Sweet Caroline’ was for Quinn; I completly disagree. That song was intended for Rachel and only Rachel because she wanted a man that was brave enough to sing a solo, And it did worked but at the end of the episode(Mash-Up) while they were on the bleachers together)it is ovious that Puck has feelings for Quinn and Rachel has feelings for Finn, and at the end of the day i think Puck loves Quinn more then Rachel.

  • Rachel. It’s the first girl who has challenged Puck, and she was the reason for his first solo. They compliment each other perfectly, and Need You Now goes to show that have musical chemistry as well as on screen chemistry. I honestly believe that given the right opportunity they could make a wonderful couple. They balance each other out, which is something you need in a relationship. He also treats her better than Finn, and actually sticks up for her instead of laughing in her face. He’s apologized for his mistakes, and of all the characters Puck has done the most growing up so I think it’s time he gets a REAL storyline for once.

Honestly, I’m tired of the same old storyline. Finn/Rachel/Quinn triangle. Who will it be this week? Rachel or Quinn? Oh, I know! Let’s have them both and pull them back and forth. It’s not fair to either girl, really.

The show needs new storylines for these characters that we’ve grown to love. What’s the point of writing the same stories over and over? You’ve got so many amazing characters you could do so much with, so why not explore it? Seeing Rachel pining after Finn everyweek is not only boring, but annoying. I’d like to see the strong willed girl who got Noah Puckerman, badass stud of McKinley to sing a solo in front of the entire Glee club, back in action.

But hey, that’s just my opinion. And I know people are gonna freak and give me crap for this post but honestly, go for it. I have my opinions, you have yours. Deal with it (:

    • Actually, I’d like to argue that Quinn was the reason he sang his first solo. He joined the glee club, because of Quinn. He sang the solo because he wanted to win over Quinn by making her jealous.

Comment by Amanda – September 8, 2011 05:01 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • Amanda, that is 100% UNTRUE. That solo was for Rachel and Rachel alone. Quinn had nothing to do with it. He never even looked at Quinn while singing that.

I’m sorry if I come off as rude, but Sweet Caroline had NOTHING to do with Quick, and I’m sick of Quick shippers even TRYING to challenge that.

Comment by Moriah – September 8, 2011 05:13 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
        • I never said the solo was FOR her. It wasn’t. It was to prove himself and try and get into Rachel’s pants. By getting into Rachel’s pants, he would’ve been making Quinn jealous. It had EVERYTHING to do with Quick even if it wasn’t directly FOR her.

Comment by Amanda – September 8, 2011 05:18 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
          • I’m definitely with you on everything you’ve said Amanda. Puck joined the Glee club to get closer to Quinn!! I also think Quinn is the only girl for Puck. Puckleberry is just gross and they don’t even like each other..

Comment by veronique – September 9, 2011 04:46 PM PDT
          • Actually, he was trying to get into Rachel’s pants because God supposedly told him to. Making Quinn jealous may have been a bonus, but that was NOT the reason he was going after Rachel.

Comment by Sharayah – September 9, 2011 09:56 PM PDT
          • Sharayah, I think you might be a little off. You see his mom was upset that he wasn’t dating a “nice” jewish girl and that night he had a ‘dream’ about her. He did say everytime he “makes-out” with a new girl he sees God so yes according to him he saw God when he made out with Rachel but in that case also with Quinn. So no God di not tell him to make out/go out with Rachel but yes he did see him when he was with Rachel.

Comment by Whitney – September 30, 2011 05:24 PM PDT
      • Umm Rachel told Puck she didn’t want someone not brave enough to sing a solo and the very next day Puck sings Sweet Caroline to and only to Rachel. And Rachel broke up with Puck but you can so tell he didn’t want it to be over with her. Come on! Rachel and Finn, yes they are cute but it’s all about Puckleberry. Rachel and Puck are perfect for each other. He joined Glee club for Quinn but stayed for Rachel.

Comment by Mary – September 11, 2011 10:02 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • Actually Puck can be the most popular couple ever and Puck sung Sweet Caroline to Rachel.

Comment by Teresa – September 16, 2011 10:41 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Also, if it was ‘just to make Quinn jealous’, why Rachel? Why go after a girl who expects so much of him when he just wanted to make Quinn jealous? Why not Santana, or Brittany, or Tina, or another Jewish girl, which there are more of as proven by Puck in Born This Way when he said that every year after their sixteenth birthday, the girls at Temple come back with new noses? Rachel wasn’t the only Jewish girl he knew, or the only Jewish girl in Lima. Puckleberry wasn’t about them both being jealous, or making Quinn jealous, Puck honestly just wanted Rachel.

Comment by Moriah – September 8, 2011 05:17 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • Yes, he honestly just wanted to get into her pants. Rachel would’ve done the most damage in terms of causing jealousy because Quinn hated her and Finn was making googly eyes at her 98% of the time.

Comment by Amanda – September 8, 2011 05:20 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
        • Oh for the love of..If Puck just wanted in her pants, he wouldn’t have sung a solo for her, defended her when the whole Glee club was ripping on her, STOPPED his make out session with her when she cheated on Finn, organized a Barbravention for her, and so much more. Puck cares about Rachel. Get over it.

Comment by Moriah – September 8, 2011 05:23 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
          • lol never said Puck didn’t care about Rachel either. He just doesn’t care about her romantically outside of the getting laid department. They’re friends. They’re building a really great friendship. That’s why Puck did those things for her.

Comment by Amanda – September 8, 2011 05:26 PM PDT
          • Yeah, in a friends sense. I see no romantic connotation here. Puck used Rachel to make Quinn jealous and Rachel used Puck (as always) to make Finn jealous. Pleeaassseee.

Comment by Edie – September 8, 2011 05:29 PM PDT
          • It was never stated that Puck used Rachel to get Quinn jealous. NEVER. It was stated that he liked her and that he got into Glee club to be closer to her. But nothing about his relationship with Rachel had to do with Quinn, nothing nothing nothing. Rachel did date him to make Finn jealous, but not Puck. They dated and they came into the conclusion that they liked other people so they broke it off.
And sure, they may be not ~IN LOVEEE~ with each other, but you know, it’s not impossible to see more than one person with a romantic prospect. They maybe don’t think about each other that way everyday single day but when it comes to their relationship, it’s definitely not purely friendship and you guys know it.

Comment by Mia – September 12, 2011 03:09 AM PDT
      • not to get sucked into this but none of the girls from puck’s temple are actually characters on the show. rachel is clearly the jewish girl puck is going to hook up with after seeing her in a dream.

        • Yeah, Puck may have cared for Quinn at some stage, but he didn’t sing sweet caroline for Quinn HE SANG IT FOR RACHEL!!!
And besides, HE WANTED TO GET INTO QUINNS PANTS TOO!!! And he did, so what does that say about Quick then?? And to be honest, he may have joined because of Quinn, BUT HE PICKED GLEE OVER FOOTBALL FOR RACHEL!!! And you could tell he wasn’t going to break up with Rachel. Also he acted like Noah when he was rachel, When he was with Quinn he acted like puck, HE SEXTED SANTANA WHILE HE WAS BABYSITTING!!
I think Puckleberry bring the bets out in each other, Puck is more sweet, and Rachel is more laid back :)

          • 1. Puck sang ‘Beth’ AND ‘Only The Good Die Young’ to Quinn so yea that kinda trumps the ‘Sweet Caroline’.

2.He picked Glee over football for Rachel, i’ll give you that but later Rachel wanted to break things off with Puck because SHE HAS FEELINGS FOR FINN and Puck did admit he HAS FEELINGS FOR QUINN AND THAT IS WHY HE JOINED GLEE CLUB IN THE FIRST PLACE.

3.Puck acts like Puck around any girl. He only went out with Rachel in the first place because she was jewish. I don’t think that they were mentally/emotional attracted to eachother, heck she only used Puck to get Finn jelous not to mention she IMAGINED FINN WAS PUCK WHEN THEY WERE MAKING OUT then backed off. And Puck just wanted someone to make out with while he built up all this hate about the whole situation while Quinn/Finn.

4.Boys will be boys. Yes Puck did sext Santana while babysitting but they wern’t even going out and Quinn just wanted to test Puck and he failed. People make mistakes, and at some point they fogive eachother becasue they become a couple in Hell-O, If they didn’t love eachother then she wouldn’t have forgiven him.

5.Puck is so sweet around Quinn and Quinn is nice and sweet around him. The end Quick trumps Puckleberry

Comment by Whitney – September 30, 2011 05:42 PM PDT
          • 1. ‘Only The Good Die Young’- if you see the extended version, he sings a part to Rachel too.
            2. Sure he joined Glee Club for Quinn, but because of the baby.
            3. Yea, and he had a dream about Rachel.
            4. And he wanted to kiss Rachel in Bad Reputation, when he was supposedly dating QUINN.
            5. And he’s not sweet around Rachel? She’s the one who gets to call him Noah. He’s the one who stood up for her. He’s the one who planned the Barbravention and told her not to get a nose job. What else?

Besides, Quick was only about the baby IMO. I mean Season 1=Baby Beth=Quick, Season 2=NO BETH=NO QUICK. SEE?!?!! Geez.

  • The only alternative that makes sense for Puck right now is Quinn. As stated in the article, they have the history and the chemistry? Incredible. I sincerely hope that even if they don’t revisit Quinn with Puck romantically, that two of my favourite characters at least acknowledge one another. Of course, IDEALLY, I would love to see them fall in love again because what Puck felt for his baby mama? That was real. And it was pure. And I miss it.

  • Okay, I’m going to say it – I’m not fond of Quick. Never have I liked this couple, because I love Quinn, and I love Puck. They are just not good for each other.
Quinn doesn’t believe in him, she called him a Lima loser, she choose Finn over him time and time again, when she dated him she still longed for Finn, she didn’t love him, and their relationship was solely based on the baby.
Puck never showed any interest in wanting to be with Quinn after having sex with her UNTIL he found out she was pregnant. It was all about the baby for him. Everytime he said he wanted to be with her, he always said how he wanted to be the dad to that baby. He wasn’t in love with Quinn, in my opinion. He loved her, but loving someone and being in love with someone are totally different. Puck didn’t even attempt to go after Quinn until after dating Rachel, and in that one week he dated her he became a better guy. When Quinn gave him a chance to be with her, he sexted Santana, showing how little actually BEING with Quinn meant.
Quick also sends a bad message – one night stands/pregnancy = love. It doesn’t. So many girls get pregnant and they think they and their baby’s daddy will be together forever, but they rarely are. Quinn and Puck having sex was never about love, Quinn was drunk and feeling fat, Puck had sex with all the girls, why should Quinn be special? Their relationship was never about love, it was about Beth, as proven by countless actions and words. The simple fact that they broke up after having Beth PROVES that once Beth was out of the picture, they had nothing left in common.

Comment by Moriah – September 8, 2011 05:11 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • i don’t think it proves anything more than the writers got too lazy to explain what happened to them. they didn’t give ANY reason as to why they weren’t together after beth. technically they weren’t even together when beth was born, so i don’t think that’s proof of anything at all.

Comment by anon – September 8, 2011 05:13 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • Very true, they weren’t technically together when Beth was born, but Jew-Fro implied they had dated over the summer and Quinn broke up with him. Puck never tried winning her back. He didn’t get mad when Sam went after her. He was done with her, and she was done with him.
Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck are horrible writers, and I don’t think Ryan Murphy has ever heard of the word ‘continuity’, but the fact is, while they gave Quinn and Puck zero closure, they ended the relationship, and while it may not stay ended forever, after a whole season of ignoring each other, Quick will never be a good couple. You don’t have a baby together, ignore each other for a year, and then get back together. That’s just stupid. If they get back together, it’s because Quick fans are very vocal.

Comment by Moriah – September 8, 2011 05:21 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
        • but look, there are a handful of very legitimate reasons as to why they never spoke to each other and puck didn’t try to win her back. for one, quinn was trying to bury thoughts of beth and that nightmare as deep as she could in the back of her mind, and talking to puck wouldn’t let her do that. and as for puck, talking to quinn would be a reminder that he had a daughter out there that he couldn’t be a father too. those are just TWO reasons, both of which can easily be fixed if proper care is taken. heck, even if proper care ISN’T taken, because this is glee and they never do proper care.

  • Write in vote for Kurt Hummel! He and Puck would be absolutely adorable together and if the writers just gave them a chance I’m sure they’d have perfect chemistry. And Puck’s shown several signs of same sex attraction, so it would make sense for him to have a pansexuality/omnisexuality/bisexuality storyline. Glee doesn’t have very much pull in those areas other than Brittany.

Comment by Rayne – September 8, 2011 05:11 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • I agree with this however I can guarantee you this will never happen for two very good reasons:

      1. The show is already being criticized for being too “gay” and the running joke is “who else will come out in season 3??” So the writers would never go for this, especially with their character who has been most clearly associated with being straight for the last two seasons.

      2. Klaine. I don’t honestly think this needs any more elaboration but I’m gonna go for it anyway. This is probably the 2nd most shipped couple on the show (very closely following Finchel) and has about a 99.9% chance of being endgame due to the horrible message established in season 2 that gay people should just date any other gay person they meet since they’ll probably never have any other options. Not to mention the fangirl revolts that would immediately ensue upon anyone with the audacity to ever break them up.

Comment by Lizzy – September 8, 2011 05:17 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • When were they happy together? The only time they were “together” was for the first few episodes of the back 9, and Puck told her to stop “supersizing” and she was yanking him away from other girls, and then they broke up at some point (even though she was still pregnant and still living with him) and she told Mercedes to go for it because she’d made a mistake with Puck because he’s an idiot who talks about Super Mario Bros all day. They can’t have been very happy together if that’s how things ended.

        • “We can be a family.” Except she won’t let him and would rather have Finn. Even after Beth, whenever they’re both single, they have nothing to do with each other. Wanting a family had more to do with providing for Beth than their feelings for each other. It also showed that Puck was a good guy.

“Did you love me? Yes, especially now.” Again, this is explained by Beth and their feelings towards her. Quinn never returns the sentiment, though, and again we hardly hear anything between the two.

“You’re special and romantic.” And a lima loser, and I’d rather Finn were the father, and we should lie to everyone about it, and even though you’re clearly trying to be a dad I’m going to shut you out to get what I want. I’m sorry, was that too mean? You’re special and romantic! But she clearly doesn’t care.

“I want to be with you.” And be a good dad to our baby. Babies need a mother and a father. The whole thing is always about Beth, there is no romance there and no feelings – especially from Quinn’s side. It’d be ridiculous if they went that way.

        • Are *you* watching the same show? None of those moments had anything to do with happiness. Each of them ended in rejection. How do any of those quotes prove they were happy together when they weren’t together for any of them? “We can be a family” and “You’re special and romantic” still ended with Quinn going off with Finn. Quinn responded to “I want to be with you” with “I want to do this alone. Please respect that.” “Did you love me? Yes, especially now” and yet it didn’t lead to a relationship and they barely spoke for a year except to snark on each other a bit and not care at all when Quinn was with Sam and then Finn and Puck was with Lauren.

Puck seemed happier in pretty much all of his relationships than he was with Quinn, who he was incapable of being faithful to and called “fat.”

  • Rachel!!! They have arguably the best chemistry of anyone on the entire show. As for Quinn, after everything that has happened between them and how they’ve treated each other I think that would send a TERRIBLE message from this show. I also think Puck’s character has made a lot of progress since season one and getting back with Quinn would reverse some of that in my eyes. To tell you the truth, I don’t think I could support this show any longer if they turned those two into some sort of fairy tale happy ending. Like I said, terrible message. I’d genuinely stop watching the show, though I know one measly person not watching won’t affect them much, I just can’t support that.

  • I think its so funny when people debate couples that will never happen. Finchel is end game, RM (even though he lies) has been preaching from season 1 that Finn and Rachel are end game and the shows “core couple”, not Wemma. Santana is a LESBIAN, not bisexual, no chance there. Brittany supposedly is focused on getting Artie back and still dealing with the whiplash and unresolved feelings with Santana. Terri, Karofsky? Dont even go there. Sugar or Lindsey character could be a possibility but considering Linsdey will only be there for two episodes, I doubt it. I doubt Sugar would be a relationship. The only logical choice here is Quinn. And its obvious. If you don’t like it oh well. The writers are writing it. Puckelbery will never exist again, and do people forget Rachel and Puck NEVER dated because they actuly had feelings for each other?!

    • Firstly, actually, so far as I’m aware, it has not been said at ANY point that Finn and Rachel are definitely endgame for the show.
I can see why, watching it, you might get that impression however I’m relatively certain that nobody has ever said outright that they will end the show as a solid couple (and God, does that give me comfort at night).

Indeed, in the original series plan – the first 13 episodes – Rachel and Finn do not end up together, and there have also been comments from Lea Michele and from Ian Brennan, that suggest Finchel might not go the distance as everyone believes that they will.

“Rachel and Finn have sort of been around the block, and this will be their last year together. I think it’s like what do you do when… one of them is headed to New York and one of them isn’t” ~ Direct quote from Ian.

Finn isn’t going to NYC… if he did there’s no way he’d survive. So really what’s to stop the writers from exploring the possibility of Puckleberry towards the end of season 3… they don’t necessarily even have to commit to anything serious, but I can definitely imagine Puck agreeing to go along for the ride to NYC.

Puck and Rachel have a very solid foundation for a healthy relationship; which is certainly far more than can be said for Finchel. I’m not saying that they will, but there’s absolutely no reason why the writers couldn’t do it if they chose to. The fact that you don’t think they will isn’t proof that they won’t and I think that it’s a little presumptuous of you to say it’s will never happen.

Secondly Quinn isn’t logical at all… the writers abandoned them completely for a whole season. The two of them have literally spent the last YEAR completely ignoring each other, except a couple of snarky remarks from Quinn to him, and when he actively helped Lauren in trying to totally destroy Quinn’s chances at Prom Queen.
Oh yeah I feel the true love radiating here… this couple just makes bucket loads of sense.

I mean really… if Quick is “endgame” then the limited faith I had left in the writers of this show will just wither and die.

The most logical choices, in terms of storyline so far, would be Puck ending the series single. Puck ending the series heading off to New York but not necessarily in a relationship with Rachel/anyone. Puck developing a relationship with Rachel. Those are, as far as I am concerned, the logical outcomes.

      • You’re reading to much into a television show, as if these are actual people who will make decisions instead of a writers table doing it for them. I don’t remember the exact link but on YouTube there is a RM interview at the FOX Premiere party a little before Glee’s first season ended or when it first ended that Finn and Rachel were endgame and the shows core couple, you can Google it, if its really THAT serious. Its TELEVISION, the shows main couple always end up together! Except maybe Dawson Creek, but that’s a whole ‘nother story. Puckleberry, is never going to happen again. People read to much into Puck’s motives, everything he does with Rachel is on a friend’s level. If Rachel and Puck ever had feelings for each other, I could buy into Puckelberry’s eccentric fandom but they didn’t, Rachel only cares about Finn, and from the Pilot it was so obvious the two were “bound”. Personally, I hope Finn doesn’t go to New York and helps take over Burt’s Tire shop and I hope him and Rachel don’t try a long distance relationship. I say this because it would be not so predictable and more realistic.

Quinn is a logical choice, her and Puck will be tied together for life regardless of the paths they take in life. They have a child. Although, that is not a reason for a couple to be together, the writers seem like they want to explore it. And don’t act as if the Quinn/Puck/Beth/Shelby storyline won’t be good TV. Yeah, Puck helped Lauren his girlfriend at the time dig up dirt on Quinn, but please don’t act like Quinn was a jewel to Lauren. Besides, its Glee, they will just ignore it, like they did Puckleberry.

  • I find it cute that the PR fans (that stands for public relations, right?) think PR have any chance at all. If I was them I’d be happy with the friendship Glee has given them.

    • Except now that they don’t need them to throw a wrench in “Finchel,” they’re probably just going to drop the friendship like they did with Mercedes/Quinn.

  • Can we just all get over ourselves please and admit that Puck is a character that literally doesn’t work with anyone unless its a one episode plot device that doesn’t mean anything. Because its true. Puck sucks with all the current characters on Glee. He just doesn’t work as the type of character who would be part of an “endgame” couple. Face it, him being paired up with anyone for more than three episodes is totally out of character for him and, frankly, stupid. I point to “Luck”.

I’m just keepin it real here.

      • “It’s been discussed” was from an interview on the carpet with Perez Hilton from this summer (about Puck going gay) and the last quote is from an AE interview he did back in ’09 after he was asked “what would Puck do if Kurt had a crush on him?”

      • Miky was quoting an interview in which Mark was asked what Puck would do if Kurt had a crush on Puck and not Finn. Mark said something along the lines of ‘Now that he’s been in Glee he’s changed, so he’d probably just turn off the light and be like ‘okay’ or just throw Kurt in a dumpster again’. (That’s not the exact quote, but if you did some digging you’d find the interview). And a little while ago Perez Hilton asked Mark something like ‘Could Puck ever be gay?’ And Mark responded with: ‘It has been discussed, yes’.

I think Quinn needs a non-romance oriented storyline this season. Every year she’s basically just desperate for a man, give her something else.

  • Personally I do not understand the Kurt and Puck pairing but of all the suggestions I have to say, strangely, thats the one I like the most. Probably because I just really like Kurt. I don’t want to see them as a legitimate couple though… I think it would be pretty hot funny to see Puck hitting on him because he wants to try “something different”. But nothing beyond that. I can’t really see Puck being anything more than bi-curious. He’s clearly straight, but his addiction to sex wouldn’t surprise me if it led to him to want to try out some new “stuff”.
That being said, I voted for Karofsky. Because all options sucked, and that was just too damn funny.

  • I really don’t understand why people think Puck and Quinn make a good couple or are “meant to be.” Puck may have said that Quinn wasn’t just another hookup for him, but the fact that he compared having sex with her to having sex with Santana and Brittany really says otherwise. The only time he showed serious interest in her was after he found out she was pregnant, and throughout the pregnancy, Quinn pretty much resisted him as much as possible. Then, after the baby was born, the two ignored each other entirely, except for a few comments from Quinn here and there (“What a catch, how did I ever let you go? [sarcastic]” “Puck was a mistake, my first time should have been with you [Finn].”
Doesn’t really strike me as a “destined” couple. Just because 2 people have a kid together doesn’t mean they’re compatible or “meant to be.”

Comment by Rory – September 8, 2011 07:39 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • nobody is saying they should be together because they had a kid. you seem to be smart, you should know it’s about more than that.

your theory about how he only showed interest in her after she was pregnant doesn’t make sense though. i mean, he had to be interested in her at least a little bit to want to sleep with her, no?

Comment by m – September 8, 2011 09:25 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • Puck with Rachel or Puck single. Quick was mocked by the writers in S1 and shown to be a relationship based on nothing but a baby. I wouldn’t mind some Quick friendship but nothing that extends beyond that. I think they should both be single and establish a friendship.

And Quinn, of course, will be working on falling in love with Artie. While Puck harbors secret feelings for Rachel.

    • if you’re talking about the whole lucy caboosey thing then no actually puck didn’t help ruin quinn’s image. it was all lauren’s idea and she was the one who actually did the research and acted on it (and she was also the one who apologized for it, because it was all her idea). all we saw puck doing was looking through the files to find his own, he was never involved in the rest of it.

      • The whole point of him being there was that he told Lauren he would help her bring down Quinn… he went with her because she had decided to dig up dirt on Quinn, he knew that if she found anything bad it could hurt Quinn and he did nothing to prevent it, indeed he encouraged it.

  • I know it won’t make a difference since the writers will do what they want, and it’s also probably the most unlikely pairing ever, but I definitely agree with a few others here about Kurt. I’ve always been curious about their potential together since the earlier episodes when their stories intertwined a bit more, and it’d be something new and different to see on T.V. Especially with a character like Puck, for once, being bi or pan rather than straight. I also do enjoy the idea of Puck being single, though. A few characters on “Glee” could do with some awesome alone time for their own good. Rock on.

Quinn has been horrible to both Finn and Pcuk I have no idea why they were even consider her to date.

  • I will never ship Quick together. I just can’t. Quinn wanted the baby to be Finn’s, and has said repeatedly that having sex with him was a mistake, and how she regrets it. Puck may have loved Quinn, but actions show that she didn’t. She’ll always care for him since he was the father of her child, but she granted Mercedes permission to go after him. She HATED living with Puck, and was glad to move in with Mercedes when she suggested the idea. She’s called Puck an idiot many times and has even said (saracastically): “Wow, what a catch. I can’t believe I ever let you go”.
Puck was obviously second choice here. At least when it came to Finn.

even with other characters it’s the same: will chased another women wwhile she was dating someone and his wife was pregnant. santana manipulated brittany into sleeping with her.
glee is a hot mess, get over it.

They both have felt like they were the second choice to those they love so it’s about time they become someone’s first choice.
They chemistry is great and they have so much potential.
Puck’s “My boy Kurt” and “Like the Secret Service”, Chris’ “It could be Puck”, Mark saying Puck was singing Sweet Caroline to Kurt and Mark’s “It has been discussed”.

  • I know it will probably never happen, I accept that and I’m okay with it, but I will always, always, always ship Puckleberry. And this is why:

    1. They’re friends, which I think is an important part of any relationship.

    2. They bring out the best in each other. Rachel helps draw out Puck’s softer side and Puck helps tone down Rachel’s crazy.

    3. For me they have amazing chemistry, both sexual and musical (Need You Now).

    4. Sweet Caroline. :)

    5. Even when he was picking on her all the time, he paid enough attention to realize that grape was her favorite slushy flavor.

    6. He picked her (Glee) over football.

    7. He moved the Glist from her locker for her.

    8. Puck was enraged and wanted to beat the crap out of Jesse for egging Rachel.

    9. He says he likes Rachel and he’s the only one to say it when Santana says that nobody likes her.

    10. Puck was so against Rachel getting a nose job and played an instrumental role in getting her to change her mind. Whats more perfect than a guy that likes you exactly how you are? :)

    11. He’s never acted like he was embarassed by her. He may have picked on her, but he wasn’t afraid to be seen with her (dating or being friends).

    and finally….

    12. Who doesn’t love the bad guy/good girl relationship? Well, I’m sure there are some people but I’m definitely not one of them.
