Get More: Finales, News, Premieres

Syfy has announced a premiere date of Friday, Oct. 7 for Season 4 of Sanctuary — and to hear the cabler’s press release tell it, the 13 new episodes will “change everything.” But how, you ask?

“With the arrival of the Hollow Earth refugees, the balance between Abnormals and humans is severely upset,” reads Syfy’s Season 4 teaser. “In order to keep the peace, Magnus and team must throw out the rulebook. But forging their own way means they’re not just dodging dangerous Abnormals anymore, now they’ve got world governments and new villains nipping at their heels.”

Syfy Renews Warehouse 13 for Season 4

  • Alright, so Sanctuary is moving back to Friday? Perfect. Now I want to know about the guest stars.

  • So they saw the dip in ratings and moved it back to Friday.

Why couldn’t they do that with Stargate Universe and Caprica instead of cancel them?

    • Because SGU and CAPRICA’s ratings didn’t “dip” — they hemorrhaged!

      • They were on at the wrong time of the year and wrong day of the week.

  • Oh good. This C-grade show is coming back while Eureka is cancelled. IS THERE NO GOD?

    • Eureka was cancelled due to its own sucess. everyone loved it but syfy cant afford the budget, whereas pretty much half of sanctuary is green screen.

  • YES! Sanctuary the show that must cost nothing to make because no one watches it comes back in October.

    • Plenty of people watch it. A show you like must have been cancelled so you’re just lashing out at Sanctuary???

  • When is Being Human coming back?

  • I like WH13 but I don’t think I could watch two hours of it!

I tried Sanctuary but could not get past Amanda Tapping’s terrible accent.

    • Her accent improved over time…and it really turned into quite a good show. Certainly when I’m looking at what’s on my DVR, that’s always the first show I want to watch — good acting, one or two excellent characters, plus it’s fun.

  • Ah, for me, she will always be Samatha Carter in Stargate SG1!

  • What about BSG: Blood & Chrome?!?!? When is it coming???

  • Okay, I’ll be the person to say it… It’s a friggen travesty that Eureka is ending. Why, SyFy? Whhhhhhhhyyyyy!?!?!?!?!?

  • I’m so bummed about Eureka. It’s one of the few shows I’ll watch ‘live’ and not taped so I can fast forward through the boring parts. UGH!!!!! Good luck to all the cast members and writers. They ROCK!

  • Lol I think that is Amanda Tapping’s real accent since she is English. Being Human returns in January. SyFy started airing the trailer for it.

  • Haven, and Eureka are great shows sorry to see them leave. Always looked forware to watching them.

  • Hate to see Eureka go. Warehouse 13 was interesting, but I can live without. Alphas is a great show that should not be cancelled. Most importantly, SyFy should stop making movies for tv. Only two out of the gazillion they have made is are worth watching. Enough blood and guts. How about some good plots? Nature can only turn on us so much without becoming boring!!!!!
