SyFy's Eureka Is Poised To End Its Run

Get More: Cancellations, News

Syfy’s Eureka will be coming to an end.

I’ve learned that the cable network is close to ordering six more episodes, which will mark the end of the sci-fi series starring Collin Ferguson and Salli Richardson-Whitfield.

Syfy is currently airing Season 4.5 of Eureka, while the show is filming the 13 episodes for Season 5.

  • Show is great, but please get rid of the Beverly character. Debra Farentino is a terrible actress and she is not pleasant to look at.

  • Um… reports of its eventual demise might be greatly exaggerated, or at the very least, premature. Read Colin Ferguson’s tweet & the article he links:

“Well alrighty then. I thought the pick up was the end of the show.. apparently not! “No end in sight”!….#sorryguys ”

  • When you look at the “reality” pablum that masquerades as prime time tv is it any wonder that there is no room for an intelligently written show like Eureka? Good run or not, Eureka can go in many different directions. It’s a shame we wnt get to see them.

  • Thats cool, I guess Syfy doesn’t want people watching their channel anymore. All thats really left will be Warehouse 13, and once thats gone I will have no more reason to watch that crappy channel.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Unacceptable! This show is so good! I’m sad now. It’s been great this season, especially with the addition of Felicia Day. Well, if this is true, they better make sure Jo and Zane get back together before it all ends!!

  • Big mistake canceling Eureka! Kind of like NBC wanting to cancel Stra Trek after it’s second season, but for outpouing from fans decided not to. Hope someone is listening!
