ImNotObsessed.com has obtained some on-location pics of Emmy-nominated series vet Mariska Hargitay working with her new on-screen partner, played by Cold Case vet Danny Pino. You can check ‘em alllll out here.

Ready for more of today’s TV news vittles? Well….

* NBC’s U.S. adaptation of the UK’s Prime Suspect has recast one of its (many) male roles. Kenneth Johnson of The Shield/Saving Grace/Sons of Anarchy has been tapped to take over as Matt Webb (!), the live-in beau of Maria Bello’s Jane Timoney, a female detective embedded in a testosterone-laden NYPD precinct, Deadline reports. The character was played in the original pilot by Brit actor Toby Stephens (Jane Eyre). SOA boss Kurt Sutter tweeted that Johnson “will still do four episodes (as Kozik) in Season 4,” which bows Sept. 6, and that he’s “leaving it open-ended” so the actor can come back.

* MTV has released a first look of the all-new Beavis and Butt-Head episodes that will begin unspooling this fall. Among the brats’ targets are the celebunots of Jersey Shore, as seen at the 3:10 mark.

* Speaking of animated fare, it was revealed at the Comic-Con panel for Fox’s cartoon version of Napoleon Dynamite that in addition to movie originals Jon Heder (voicing Napoleon), Jon Gries (Uncle Rico), Tina Majorino (Deb), Efren Ramirez (Pedro), Sandy Martin (Grandma) and Diedrich Bader, guest voices on tap for Season 1 include Amy Poehler (Parks and Rec), Sam Rockwell (Confessions of a Dangerous Mind), Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) and Jennifer Coolidge (Best in Show).

* Lifetime has greenlit the TV-movie We Have Your Husband, starring Teri Polo (Meet the Parents) and Esai Morales (Caprica) and based on the true story of a woman’s fight to free her businessman husband, who was held for seven-and-a-half months by kidnappers in Mexico. Also per Deadline: TNT has cast Bill Pullman (Torchwood: Miracle Day) as the lead in Innocent, a TV-movie based on Scott Turow’s sequel to Presumed Innocent. The telepic marks the first entry TNT’s new Tuesday Night Mystery franchise, launching in November.

  • Why would anyone want to replace Toby Stephens? Probably won’t check that out anymore.

    • Wonder if they replaced him or he chose to leave. A shame. He’s fantastic actor and I love him to pieces.

  • I love the addition of Kenneth Johnson to anything I watch so I’m very excited about this. Happy to see Sutter’s plans too. Thanks Cameron, for sharing that.

  • I maybe the only only one but i think Danny Pino will do good @ SVU. He did good on Cold Case, he can slide into rhythem and pace of SVU and i think not skip a beat. Kenny Johnson in any TV role is good. Hopefully it won’t get cheesy like Saving Grace. but he has a good everyman personality that echos the UK version with Tom Wilkinson. I’m kinda pumped with NBC shows. Some good contenders in Drama, Comedy not as much. But NBC has to get that ugly fedora off of Maria Bello’s head. Screams cheesy and trying to hard.

    • I used to watch “Cold Case” mainly to watch Danny Pino! I’m so glad he’s going to be the lead in SVU! He’s extremely talented and will bring a younger look and attitude to the show.

  • I’m very sad that they replaced Toby Stephens on “Prime Suspect.” I’m not happy that they are remaking such a great show. Helen Mirren was excellent, and I’m not sure if Maria Bello (or anyone) can top her. But I was willing to give the “Prime Suspect” remake a try because of Toby Stephens. Nothing against Kenneth Johnson, but he’s not enough to get me to tune in.
