Covert Affairs: Piper Perabo and Her Main Men Reveal Too Much at Comic-Con!

Covert Affairs star Piper Perabo is getting seriously into the spirit of Comic-Con — winking at stormtroopers, rubbing elbows with She-Ra — but there’s one sci-fi staple she still doesn’t know by name. Thankfully, costars Christopher Gorham and Sendhil Ramamurthy were on hand to offer the occasional geek pointer, and to spill just a little too much intel about their hit USA Network series Covert Affairs. The trio sat down with TVLine’s Michael Ausiello at our Comic-Con interview suite to talk about guns, helicopters, and airplanes; poignant moments between Perabo’s Annie and Gorham’s Auggie; what to expect when Kari Matchett’s Joan heads into the field; and an upcoming story arc Ramamurthy probably shouldn’t have mentioned.

        • I’ll add to that remark. Even YouBoob, err, YouTube’s “captioning” is better than nothing

  • You do such fun and charming interviews. Piper, Sendhil, and Christopher have such fun/playful chemistry together on and off the screen – really fun to watch!

  • I don’t know about anyone else, but I find that I can barely hear Michael, so I turn up the volume, but then the people being interviewed come blaring out of my speakers. They seriously need to address the sound situation or Michael needs to speak up!

  • I love them and love the show, but that’s not all of Annie’s men. Where was Eion Bailey? Ben is one of Annie’s men, too.

    • If we’re lucky, he’ll disappear again. Bailey can’t act to save his life. If not Auggie, bring back Oded Fehr. Now he had chemistry with Piper

  • Definitely have your sound person do a spot check on your mic. But having a sit down with one of the hottest casts out there right now is verrrrrry cool. Love Covert Affairs…

  • Where is Ben? Annie and Ben/Piper and Eion have amazing chemistry – why don’t they make him a regular? I love Auggie but Jay…eh….take him or leave him!

  • The interview seemed uncomfortable to me. Jay, poor Jay doesn’t do much on the show. He’s usually just in the background being jealous of Auggie. Writers! There can be more than 2 interesting people on a show! Time to step up now that you’ll be around for a while.

    • Jay is pretty much useless on the show. I’d rather they just kill him off.

  • The majority of participants were well educated, but nearly half had low or marginal health literacy skills.
